Wedding

The wedding ceremony will be held in the resort gardens in the late afternoon when the weather will be a little cooler. There will be plenty of time to take advantage of the activities at the resort, do some exploring or sit by the pool in the morning. The reception will be held after in the resort's restaurant with speeches, food and music. We would love this to be a laid back event so please don't feel as if you have to wear formal gear - shorts and a shirt for men is great and whatever you like for women. As it is the end of February, northern Thailand is starting to get hotter although you might still need a cardigan for the evenings. You can expect daytime temperatures of above 30 degrees; however, temperatures can drop to mid-teens at night.

Post-wedding beach trip

After the wedding we are planning on spending the rest of the week relaxing by the beach at Railay in Krabi province and would love for friends and family to join us for a chilled few days if you are still around. The scenery is stunning and there are lots of options for different activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Its also a really easy place for excursions to other islands like Koh Phi Phi. There are lots of accommodation options at Railay at all different price ranges and plenty of places to eat and drink. We've included lots more information about how to get there from Maekok in the travel tab.
