FAQs

The Wedding Website of Molly Golden and Alexander Enriquez
Question

How do I confirm my attendance?

Answer

You will be able to RSVP on this website after invitations are sent out in July. However, if you already know you won't be able to attend, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible to help us with our wedding planning.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal attire. In general, women should wear a long dress and men should wear a suit. We encourage fall colors if you would like to match the theme! Please avoid wearing champagne or white. The ceremony will take place in a Catholic Church. Please dress respectfully.

Question

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

Answer

When you RSVP for the wedding online, it will specify who from your family is invited and/or if you have a plus one.

Question

What is a Nuptial Mass? Can I receive the Eucharist/Communion?

Answer

In the Catholic Church, a wedding typically takes place during a full mass and includes the liturgy of the Eucharist. Only practicing Catholics are able to receive the Eucharist. If you are not Catholic, you are welcome to come to the altar with your arms crossed over your chest during Communion to receive a blessing or you can remain seated.

Question

How long will the Ceremony be?

Answer

The ceremony takes place during a nuptial mass, which will be at least an hour long.

Question

Will there be transportation provided between the hotels, ceremony, and reception?

Answer

No, there is no shuttle or other transportation provided between locations. There will be adequate parking at each location, and everything is located in/near downtown Augusta. The ceremony and reception venues are 0.2 mi apart and the Marriott is less than a mile away from both!

Question

Are the venues accessible?

Answer

Yes, both venues have a ramped entrance. At the Old Medical College, the main room is separated from the dance floor by a small staircase, but there is an elevator available for those who need it. Please note that this is an old venue, so some of the bricks on the walkway at the entrance may be loose/uneven.
