Molly and Alexander met each other within their first few months as cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2018. He thought she was interesting, funny, and really cute. She thought he seemed smart, charming, and “husband material.” With 47 months to get to know each other, they wordlessly decided that they would never speak again and parted as strangers. For almost four years they passed each other in hallways, barracks rooms, and patrol bases rom-com style until God and the academy registrar conspired in a bit of matchmaking to put them together in the same class for the first time in 2022. They finally started talking, flirting, liking, dating, and loving. Alexander proposed to Molly in April of 2025 and they are excited to spend the rest of their lives together.
