Can we bring kids?

We respectfully ask that no children attend our ceremony or reception, as per our venue's strict guidelines. We can't wait to have an adults only celebration with you and thank you for understanding!

Take we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that all guests refrain from taking photos during the church ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer who will no doubt be able to capture the best moments! Please join us in being present and waiting until after the ceremony to take photos.

Where can I find parking?

Answer

The nearest parking garage for the ceremony is the main Loyola University garage located at 1110 W Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL 60660. From there, our ceremony is within two minutes walking distance. For our reception at The Lytle House, street parking is readily available on Broadway at $2.25/HR. All other streets surrounding The Lytle House are free, no permit required, no time restrictions, and no confusing signage. West of Broadway typically has easy street parking that is readily available on Fridays + Saturdays.

Where can I stay?

Please see the Hotel Information tab. We have booked a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Chicago North Loyola Station, located at 1209 West Albion Ave, Chicago, Illinois, 60626. This is about a 5 minute walk to Madonna Della Strada Church and a 10 minute drive to the reception venue. Rooms must be booked by June 20, 2023.
