Sleep / Travel / Packing List

We hope you’ll enjoy your stay in one of the cabins or private rooms at Camp Englewald! When you RSVP, we’ll also ask you for your housing preferences so we can do our best to provide you with accommodations that work best for you.

Travel Note

Lake Bryn Mawr Camp

593 Bryn Mawr Road, Honesdale PA 18431. Please click "View" below for driving directions.

Travel Note

Newark International Airport (EWR) or Wilkes Barre Scranton International Airport (AVP)

While Wilkes Barre is the closest airport to Honesdale, we recommend you fly into Newark airport instead. Newark has flights much more frequently than Wilkes Barre and it’s much less likely to need to delay flights due to weather concerns. If there's enough interest, we will be providing an airport shuttle from Manhattan on Friday afternoon and again back to the city after the goodbye brunch (and we might also add a shuttle to Wilkes Barre if there’s enough interest), so please reach out to us before you book your flight to make sure that the shuttle time lines up with your travel plans. Please reach out to Rachel or Ben if you have any questions!

Accomodations

We’ll provide you with overnight accommodations Friday night and Saturday night at Lake Bryn Mawr Camp (known this weekend as Camp Englewald!) When you RSVP, you can indicate your preferences for your overnight accommodations. There are 3 styles of housing: cabins, semi-private, and private. All 3 styles have A/C, heat and nice attached bathrooms. 1. Cabins are bunk bed style and there's a dorm style/cabin style bathroom attached. 2. Semi-private rooms have twin beds (that can be pushed together to make a full) and they share a bathroom with one other semi-private room. 3. Private rooms have double beds with their own bathroom.
