Schuyler is a college professor in West Virginia He was arrested for stealing from a McDonald’s He spent over a decade searching record stores for Dennis Wilson’s out of print 1977 masterpiece “Pacific Ocean Blue”. It remains his white whale.
Chris Grillo

Chris was Rob’s intern in the summer of 2011. He learned more about beer than finance. Coined the term “wear green to make green” while in Saratoga Once traveled to Nova Scotia with his grandfather to buy pajamas
Brendan Sweet
Groomsman
Brendan is Schuyler’s second cousin. A fact we discovered during a 4+ hour drive to a beer fest in Vermont with Rob and Chris. Brendan knows more “fun facts” about random things than anyone you’ll ever meet He owns a watch that was on the moon
Greg Keches

Greg and his lovely wife Lauren were the first of Rob’s friends to meet Taylor. She obviously received the Keches stamp of approval. Despite being allergic, Greg often cat sits Bear when Rob & Taylor are out of town Greg wore a blazer to his first beer fest
Jared Shepard

Jared was a concert pianist for many years before finding his true passion in life: public policy & economic development (that’s not actually a joke) Jared’s father once taught Blackmar how to use a bullwhip and a stunt kite (not at the same time) Jared’s son Henry is one of our ring bearers
Alysson Flynn

Taylor’s best and tallest friend, Alysson first met the bride when they were on the same CYO cheerleading team at age 11. Once they discovered their mutual love of chocolate chip cookies and sisters named Sara(h), they became inseparable. Over 25 years later, Alysson is an honorary Engelsman sister, and actually helped Sara get ready for her junior prom. Alysson’s dream career, if money didn’t matter, would be an ice cream scooper.
Emma Engelsman

Emma is Taylor’s middlest and most thoughtful sister. Taylor was obsessed with Emma from day one and for some crazy reason (probably sleep deprivation) their mom let 4 year old Taylor carry baby Emma around to her heart’s content. Emma is a talented baker and cook. She is the guardian of family recipes and the secret ingredient at every Engelsman family party. Emma is also a walking Disney encyclopedia. Seriously, ask her anything about the house of the mouse!
Sara Engelsman
Bridesmaid
Sara is Taylor’s youngest and most organized sister. Sara has single-handedly planned Taylor and Rob’s wedding, while working a full-time design job and freelancing for one of Boston’s most prestigious wedding planners. This wedding quite literally wouldn’t be happening without her. Saras has been helping to keep all of us in order for most of her life. Rob is thrilled to have a fellow planner in the family, and they have already started scheming on family trips. Sara has seen every episode of Gilmore Girls at least 20 times. This is not an exaggeration. She is team Logan, by the way.
Kate Shoemaker

Kate is Taylor’s newest and most free-spirited sister (in-law). She might be the polar opposite of Rob. Kate loves being in nature, doing qigong, and the band Phish. Rob and Kate affectionately call each other “dude”. She was also the first family member to know Rob had met a cute aquarium educator during COVID. Kate’s son David is one of our ring bearers.
