Question

What COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place?

Answer

With the rise of new COVID variants we are continuing to evaluate how to keep our guests safe. We request that all guests 12 and older have received a COVID vaccine (any of the approved vaccines) or have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event. This is essential for keeping children and those who are immunocompromised safe and healthy. In addition, the Minneapolis Park Board has a mask mandate in place and thus masks will be required indoors, when not eating or drinking. Masks will be provided at the event, but you are welcome to bring your own instead. We will strictly follow all additional guidelines from the CDC and state or local health departments. And we appreciate your willingness to do the same! After a year of postponements our top priority is keeping all guests and our broader community healthy.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to venue capacity limitations, only children of family members are invited. We love all your kids and we wish there was room for everyone, but instead we're giving you a kid-free night out. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be at the Church of St William in Fridley, Minnesota. The reception will be immediately following the ceremony at Columbia Manor in Minneapolis. For more details and address see our wedding details page.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony. This should give you plenty of time to find a seat and get comfortable before the ceremony.

Question

I can’t make it in time for the ceremony, what should I do?

Answer

We know Friday weddings can be tough! If you’re not able to make it for the ceremony we understand, but we hope you’ll join us for the reception! We expect the ceremony to last about an hour, and guests can arrive at Columbia about 5:15-5:30pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both venues have plenty of free parking. Cars can be left overnight at Columbia Manor, if needed. Be safe and plan a sober ride home!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check out our travel page for hotel information!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know about food allergies and we’ll do our best to accommodate. You can include allergies with your food preferences in your RSVP.
