When should I RSVP by?

Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
As we have the whole venue and some guests will be staying on site, you can arrive at any time! The ceremony will start at 13:00 we would like everyone to be seated by 12:45.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes!!! We are expecting there to be lots of children in attendance - of all ages. We will also have an area available for any afternoon naps/quiet time.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
The main meal of the day will be a buffet suitable for meat eaters and vegetarians. If you have any specific food allergies then please just let us know ☺️

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is lots of parking available - no need to worry! You can also leave your car at the venue and collect it the next day.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
There is no organised transport to the venue. As we are starting around midday it should be no problem to find a taxi or something similar. However, we are planning to have a shuttle service for those staying in off-site accomodation so you can get home as easily and as comfortably as possible at any time during the night. We expect a cost of around 10 EUR per person, which we will confirm with you, once we have a final number of passengers. Have a look at the off-site accomodation section on the travel page and let us know in your RSVP, if you're interested.

What weather can I expect?
Answer
We are hoping for great weather but April can be mixed - some years it can be 25 degrees and sunshine and other years it can be 12 degrees and raining. Of course we are hoping for the first option! As our venue is on top of a hill, it is very exposed and can get quite windy. Once the sun goes down the temperature will drop so make sure you have something warm with you for later in the day.

It will be mixed, depending on the weather.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Not really...we would prefer that you feel comfortable in what you wear. If you have a favourite dress or suit you know fits perfectly and it makes you feel great - then go for it! We just want everyone to have a good time together, even if you are wearing shorts and flip flops 😎

What is an open bar?
Answer
For all the Brits: an open bar is exactly what it sounds like! We will have a few FREE options that will be available to you all night, as much as you want. It will likely consist of beer, wine and a few set cocktails. Soft drinks will be included too. Anything other than that, you will have to pay for yourself. I know it's a strange concept for us Brits but please enjoy yourselves - and try not to end up needing medical assistance, the nearest hospital is too far away and the doctors in attendance are off the clock 🤪

What time is lights out?
Answer
As we have the whole venue, and no noise or licensing restrictions, we can party until we can't dance anymore! It might be 1am...or it could be 5am. You are free to leave whenever suits you. Please take this into account when thinking about travel plans for the end of the night.

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
No we don't. And we don't expect anything from you! The time, effort and money you have put in to celebrate with us is more than enough. If still feel like you want to contribute, then please do so. Preferably in cash...we accept all major currencies 😜 As we are all flying in, please remember that our luggage going back to Berlin won't have that much space 😂

Can I take photos? Can I share photos online?
Answer
During the ceremony we would prefer that you enjoy the moment. After that please feel free to take as many photos as you like, hopefully the sunset will be glorious! If you want to share any photos online then please make sure you have permission from those in the shot - especially photos of children.
