When should I RSVP by?

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

All of the hotels in Black River Falls are comparable in quality and location. We link to the Comfort Inn on the "Travel" page but feel free to peruse the other options as well.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When you RSVP, you will have the oppurtunity to specify any dietary restrictions that you want to make sure are passed along to our caterers.

Will the wedding festivities be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Burlap & Bells is an entirely outdoors venue with a covered pavilion area to be used for the reception. Please plan to be outdoors from ceremony to the end of the night. Ceremony location is a short wagon ride away from the pavilion and designated parking area. A golf cart or car ride is available to those needing accommodations to access the ceremony location.

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We are asking guests to follow a semi-formal dress code for the ceremony. A dress, jumpsuit, or suit with tie or bowtie is recommended.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Venue Address: Burlap & Bells, N7988 West Snow Creek Rd, Black River Falls, WI 54615 Be sure to come early to avoid driving past the start of the ceremony! Take the Black River Falls #115 exit. Go north on Hwy 12/27 towards Merrillan (2 miles). Go left on East Snow Creek Rd. (1.5 miles). Go left on Hannon Rd (0.1 miles). Go right on West Snow Creek Rd. (0.2 miles). When you arrive, follow the signs to the parking lot. Please don’t drive on the grass. Please plan to park in the parking lot by the pavilion. Guests will be shuttled via a wagon ride to the ceremony location.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Both events are taking place on the same property. Arrive early to park closest to the reception site. A wagon ride will bring guests to the ceremony site.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 PM, but plan to arrive about 30-45 minutes early! You'll get better parking and be able to take the wagon ride to the ceremony site.

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We are very excited to have so many of our loved ones together at once. We ask that you be present in the moment and allow our photographer and videographer to handle documenting the day so that we can make the most of our time together. This is especially true during our unplugged ceremony.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! A bartender will be serving drinks while supplies last. No outside alcohol is allowed. Drink responsibly and make sure someone is responsible for driving back to your hotel.
