The journey from Indiana to “I do”—fueled by love, leaps of faith, and a lot of bread.

We met on Bumble in March 2024—two people with busy lives, a little curiosity, and a lot of hope. Kyler was a pilot for Kalitta, and Emory a manager with FedEx. After a few weeks of talking, we finally met at a cozy Italian restaurant, where we stayed long after dinner, lost in conversation until the staff had to close for the night. From that night on, we knew something special had taken flight. Emory made trips from Indianapolis to Cincinnati just to see Kyler for a day—visits that quickly became a regular and meaningful routine. Not long after, we took a leap and traveled to Colorado together for a concert. We spent the trip dreaming of building a life there… and then we did. Within four months, we packed up, moved across the country, and started building a life in Colorado—full of love, laughter, late-night ER visits, and a furry little family. We faced homesickness, challenges, and change, but through it all, our love grew stronger. In May 2025, we fulfilled another dream and traveled to Germany and Austria. We wandered cobblestone streets, sprinted for trains, ate way too much bread, and laughed until we couldn’t breathe. On the bank of the Salzach River in Salzburg, Kyler proposed—and Emory said yes, without hesitation. Now, we’re building a life filled with adventures, stories, and quiet moments together. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us.
