Question

What do I do when I arrive?

Answer

Check in for all guests is at the front desk of the clubhouse (cottages included). You can temporarily leave your car in the front circle while checking in, or park in the parking lot behind the clubhouse and enter through the back door. Parking is also available next to the golf shop.

What can I expect with my lodging?

Answer

Breakfast will be provided for all guests in the clubhouse dining room each morning. Your stay also includes a sack lunch, which is available by request each day at the front desk. Take it to the Lower Lake or to the top of Indian Head for an Adirondack picnic! Your stay also includes an activity voucher for golf or a boat on the lake. Tennis also is included. Vegetarian options will be provided at the dinners on both nights. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please notify either Jay or Emory.

Can you explain the dress codes more specifically?

Answer

Sure! We coined some original terms to better suit the nature of the wedding. The Welcome Party will be Casual Summer Attire, which would most closely be described as Cocktail Attire. Our wedding ceremony and reception will be Mountain Formal, which is equivalent to semi-formal. None of the events will be black tie. During the day at the club, wear clothes that are suited to whichever activity you're involved in at the time. Please avoid denim while at the club. Also, note that temperatures in the Adirondacks can range from 75 degrees during the day do 40 degrees at night, so plan accordingly!
