How To Get to Kingston
The most common way to get to Kingston is by car. Kingston is conveniently located off of the New York Thruway, Exit 19. Kingston is approximately 90 miles from New York City, 64 miles from Albany, 156 miles from Boston, and 247 miles from Montreal. Bus Adirondack Trailways Kingston Bus Terminal is located at 400 Washington Avenue Kingston, NY 800-858-8555 www.trailwaysny.com This is the best way to travel to Kingston, NY from NYC. It takes ~2-3 hours depending on traffic. The hotel is a short walk from the bus station Amtrak Train Station (Rhinecliff, NY station or Poughkeepsie, NY station) 800-872-7245 www.amtrak.com This is about 20 minutes away from Kingston. How To Get to Woodstock
Woodstock has 78 miles of Town Roads to complement State Routes 28 (which is how one comes to Woodstock from Kingston and the southeast), 212 (the way from Saugerties and the northeast, and the main arterial route from West Saugerties through Woodstock, Bearsville, Shady, Lake Hill, Willow, and Mount Tremper, where it joins 28), and 375 (the way from 28 north through West Hurley to 212 and the Woodstock hamlet). There are also a number of county roads: Rock City Road, Wittenberg Road, Glenford-Wittenberg Road, Ohayo Mountain Road, Glasco Turnpike, Sawkill Rioad, Zena Road, and West Saugerties Road. All Woodstock roads are beautiful: see for yourself! Adirondack Pine Hill Trailways operates daily bus service to and from Port Authority in New York City, making stops in Kingston each way.
