The Cliff Lodge

The Cliff Lodge, which is at Snowbird Ski Resort, is a short distance from Snowpine Lodge (about 5 minutes). Snowbird Ski Resort also has several daytime activities where you can enjoy the mountain vistas! In addition, The Cliff Lodge is where our Welcome Party will be on Friday night. If you choose to stay at The Cliff there will be a shuttle to and from Snowpine on Saturday night. Shuttles will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. To ensure you receive the group rate at The Cliff, please use the linked website or call 1-800-453-3000. There are plenty of rooms available at The Cliff so if you no longer see any rooms listed through the website link please call and make sure you reference the Steele-Kaelin Welcome Party to receive the group discounted rate. In addition, because Snowbird's annual Oktoberfest is happening the same weekend as the wedding we recommend booking your room ASAP as this is one of the busier weekends at Snowbird.

Snowpine Lodge

Snowpine Lodge is where the wedding ceremony and reception will be located. We currently have rooms available for Saturday night! Please come stay with us as we will be partying till midnight!

House Or Rental

VRBO, Alta Chalets, or AirBNB

If you prefer to stay with a larger group in a private home or condo there are multiple options available through VRBO, Alta Chalets, and Airbnb. Just please know that you will be on your own for transportation to and from Snowpine Lodge if you are not staying at The Cliff Lodge. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE STAYING IN EITHER THE TOWN OF SNOWBIRD, THE TOWN OF ALTA, OR ON THE BYPASS ROAD BETWEEN THE TWO SKI RESORTS. DO NOT book a room at Brighton, Solitude, or Park City as those locations are in a separate canyon and not within reasonable driving distance. In addition, there are some condos/houses at the bottom of Little Cottonwood Canyon which is 8 miles from Alta, UT, about a 20-minute drive. **Before you book, it may be wise to reach out to Emmy or Matt to ensure you book lodging within a reasonable driving distance from Snowbird/Alta**

The drive to and from Alta from Salt Lake City International Airport is a short 40 minutes.

Rental Car

Canyon Transport

We recommend Canyon Transportation, a convenient shuttle servicing Salt Lake International Airport, Little Cottonwood Canyon and elsewhere in the Salt Lake Valley. You will need to make a reservation for a ride to and from the airport. If staying at The Cliff, make shuttle reservations through Snowbird’s Central Reservations, or call Canyon Transportation directly at 1.801.255.1841. If staying at Snowpine Lodge we recommend calling Canyon Transportation directly.

Travel Note

Lyft/Uber

Lyft and Uber is a reliable way to get to Little Cottonwood Canyon (where Snowpine Lodge and The Cliff Lodge are located) from SLC International Airport. However, once in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Lyft and Uber become less reliable. For transportation back to SLC International Airport, we would recommend scheduling a Lyft/Uber ahead of time or using Canyon Transportation.
