Question

What are you doing about COVID-19?

Answer

With vaccinations widely available across the U.S., our hope is that most of our guests will be vaccinated by August. If you are not vaccinated by this time, we are asking that you have a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the wedding date. The venue is mostly outdoors and we will be able to socially distance, as needed. We will continue to re-evaluate and provide updates as the date approaches. If you do not feel comfortable attending, we completely understand and respect your decision. **Because of the Delta Variant, if you are unvaccinated or at risk, we strongly encourage that you wear a facial covering while indoors and on the shuttle to protect you and our loved ones. If you do become ill during the wedding weekend, we ask you to quarantine and stay in your room and we will assist you in obtaining a same-day test kit. If have health concerns other than COVID, please call Dr. Julie Steele and she will assist you.**

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your Save the Date and Wedding Invitation will specify those who are invited to the wedding. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do! But, we want our wedding to be your night off so we have limited kids to those who are in the wedding party.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail for the ceremony and wedding reception, please. Mountain Casual is more than acceptable for the welcome party the evening before the wedding. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

Do I need to worry about altitude sickness?

Answer

YES! Alta and Snowbird, UT are located at 8,560 feet above sea level so please drink lots and lots of water.

Question

How do I get to Little Cottonwood Canyon?

Answer

We recommend Canyon Transportation, a convenient shuttle servicing Salt Lake International Airport, Little Cottonwood Canyon, and elsewhere in the Salt Lake Valley. You need a reservation for canyon transport. If staying at The Cliff, make shuttle reservations through Snowbird’s Central Reservations, or call Canyon Transportation directly at 1.800.255.1841. If staying at Snowpine Lodge we recommend calling Canyon Transportation directly.
