As a child, Emmi demanded to be held 24/7. So Donna was forced to wear her as an accessory for the first two years of Emmi's life. Now that Emmi is grown, she is marginally less clingy, but definitely still high maintenance. Donna now spends her time with Emmi nerding out about childhood mental health and crochet patterns.

Mother of the Groom
A woman of strong conviction. Lorna (pictured with her two favorite children, Spotz and Yena), was a fierce and loyal friend, a great mother, and one of the dorkiest women Jon ever knew. She is missed by many.
Eric Burke
Father of the Bride
Eric wouldn't trade Emmi for a million bucks, but also wouldn't pay two cents for another kid like her. According to him, Emmi looks like her mom but thinks just like her dad - including her stubbornness and seeing the world in black and white.
Rob Silberstein
Father of the Groom
As father of the groom, Rob Silberstein (also known as Robalon) is singlehandedly responsible for ALL of Jon's personality flaws. He enjoys more coffee per day than is healthy, walking for hours on end for 'fun' throughout Paris, and spending time with his two absolutely wonderful sons.
Kimberly Krhounek
Step Mother of the Groom
Kim Krhounek has been (and continues to be) Jon's wonderful step-mom for many years. She loves the nation of France, good wine and cuisine, and is able to tolerate both Jon and Michael for periods of up to several days at a time. She and several of her lovely family members will be in attendance, so be sure to meet the entire Krhounek (and Eikermann) gang!

Sister of the Bride & Maid of Honor
Even though she doesn't recycle, Emmi still loves her big sister so much.
Michael Silberstein
Brother of the Groom & Best Man
Michael "Mikey Pikey" Silberstein is Jon's brother and favorite sibling by far. An avid gardener, incredible cook, and (unfortunately) a competitive gamer, he got both the brains and looks, leaving Jon with neither.
CJ Burke
Brother of the Bride & Groomsman
CJ or 'HEHE' is by far the coolest member of the Burke family and he knows it... Incapable of responding to texts, but we love him anyways.
Natalie Burke
Sister of the Bride & Junior Bridesmaid
Natalie 'Nat Rat' Burke is the best younger sister Emmi could have ever asked for. She's a great soccer player and is~almost~ capable of beating Jon in a backyard 1x1 game. (You'll get there one day sis!) Natalie loves talking with her big sister about book recommendations, middle school dances, and her evil kitty Beastie. #SlayQueen
Abby Boyce

Regardless of what she might tell you, Abby did not set up Emmi and Jon. This fact haunts her every day since she was great friends with both Emmi and Jon and somehow didn't see the potential for this wonderful relationship. She's also really good at dancing.
Eric Kolb

Eric 'Er-Bear' (pronounced air-bear) Kolb is one of Jon (and Emmi's) best friends from grad school and former roommate. An incredible skier, chef, and one of Emmi's favorite climbing partners, he is a world renown dancer capable of doing the splits! Make sure to ask to see his incredible moves on the dance floor at the wedding!
Giorgia Borgarelli

Giorgia is Emmi's most Italian friend and her BIGgest supporter (get it? she was Emmi’s Big in college). Giorgia likes practicing medicine, teaching pilates, flipping on top of horses, and spending time with her husband, Zachino (little Zach).
Kaitlyn Depew
Bridesmaid
Despite being older and graduating first, Kaitlyn somehow became Emmi’s little in college (drop anchor, amirite?). Kaitlyn is the most organized and well put together person anyone will ever meet (ask her about her year-long wall calendar and her recent marathon). Emmi is only a little salty that Kaitlyn waited to move to Richmond until after Emmi packed her bags for Colorado.
Mallory Hutton

Mallory quickly became one of Emmi's best friends after moving out to Boulder. An avid backpacker, snowboarder, and 'paint by numbers guru', Mallory is one of Emmi's favorite friends for long-winded rants and deep conversations about the meaning of life.
Michael Cairo
Groomsman
Michael Andrew Cairo, or "Andrew" as his friends call him is one of Jon's best friends from undergrad. Andrew is a particle physics PhD student, much like his favorite character on TV, Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory (Bazinga)! Together, Jon and Andrew love to play music, discuss their favorite types of marine wildlife, and work out at the gym for hours on end.
Mikayla Mason
Bridesmaid
Mikayla "Miky" Mason is Emmi's longest relationship. Best friends since junior year of high school, Mikayla is the better half of "Mikemmi Travels", the popular travel instagram. Follow our adventures @the_bould_get_boulder
Robert Sasse
Groomsman
Robert "The Sasseman" Sasse, also known as the Robster, is one of Jon's best friends from Boulder. Rob loves birding, pickleball, and other activities that are typically enjoyed by people aged either 5 and younger or 75 and older.
Sean Muth
Groomsman
Sean "Muthikins" Muth (pictured below playing blazer tag, which is laser tag in sport coats) is Jon's friend from middle school, high school, and college. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture (especially movies) and used to be able to dunk which is objectively pretty awesome.
Gabi Diaz
Officiant
Gabi Diaz, also known as 'the Gabinator', is great friends with both Emmi and Jon from their time in Boulder. This is why she has the great honor (or burdensome obligation - depending on how you look at it) of being the officiant for this wedding. Gabi enjoys card games, traveling, and Taco Bell. Believe it or not this is actually the first wedding she has ever officiated, so please be nice to her :)
