Some of the best hiking in Boulder and it's right next to the wedding reception venue! Here are some of our favorites: Bluebell Mesa for a mellow hike; 1st and 2nd Flatiron to see some gneiss rocks; Royal Arch for something more challenging
A quick and challenging hike in North Boulder with amazing views of the city! Lion's Lair is longer, less steep option that ends at the same summit. Bonus Rec: Stop at Sweet Cow for amazing icecream afterwards!
Rocky Mountain National Park is only 45 minutes from Boulder. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time to enter if needed (or just get up SUPER early in the morning). If you want specific hiking suggestions, let us know :)
Best sub-alpine hiking near Boulder. Extremely busy on weekends so you may need to take a shuttle from Nederland High School (597 Co Hwy 130, Nederland, CO 80466). Try any of the lake hikes for incredible mountain views! If you're lucky you may even catch some of the Aspen leaves changing.
An amazing food hall right on Pearl Street. Check out the rooftop for some beautiful mountain views!
Incredible sandwiches.
Super ornate, amazing chai, and located in downtown Boulder!
This is the CUTEST town in Colorado. Only 40 minutes from Boulder, you'll be able to go on the best hikes, see some beautiful aspen leaves, and try the best pizza in the state. If you have a free day on your trip out, this town is our top recommendation! For hiking, try the trails at Hesse Trailhead. And for pizza, go to Crosscut!
If you want to get out of Boulder for a day but don't want to get up into the mountains, Lyons is so cute and charming and only 20 minutes away. Check out Moxie's bakery for pastries, Oskar Blues for beer, hang by the creek or go hike in Hall Ranch!
Old school Colorado vibes. Great hiking, old mining town vibes. Check out the General Store while you're up there! Theres good beer on tap and live music. A rustic and charming place.
