Can you, a guest, wear white to this wedding?

Answer

No. Do not wear white. Do not wear white as a joke. If you even think twice about the color of something, find something else. You will be shamed and/or removed from the wedding.

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

Long. We are doing a full Catholic mass. If you are going to complain about the length of the ceremony, do not come. You will most likely be in the church for at least an hour. If you are worried about igniting upon entry, please bring a fire blanket. There will only be so many extinguishers.

Is this adults only?

Answer

Ceremony, kids are welcome! Cocktail & Reception, adults only. We know - We're awful terrible selfish people. Please plan to be child-free for the evening activities. We apologize for the inconvenience. Your invite/RSVP is for who is invited to the reception. Any +1 will need to be over the age of 21. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semiformal. Do not wear white!!!!! Church does prefer covered shoulders.

What should I do if I have never been to Catholic Church?

Answer

Sit quietly towards the back! We are going to try to have everyone who would like to receive communion, sit towards the front. If you don't know what that means, sit towards the back. We would really appreciate it if you did come to the ceremony as the act of getting married is the reason we are all gathering. BUT! We also understand not feeling comfortable at church. Please make the best decision for you and your afterlife.

What time will the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2p or once Emmett & Hannah are ready. We WILL NOT be holding the ceremony for your arrival.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP by 11:59p Sunday, November 8th. We will STOP ACCEPTING RSVPs ON Monday, November 9th. Do not text/call Hannah about this.

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Red and Green - we will be leaning into the theme of the holiday season.

Should I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

No, please put your phone away. First, you will be inside a Catholic Church - do not be on your phone. Make sure it is on silent. Second, please scroll back up to the photo at the top and look at the crowd. This is what we would like to avoid.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

It would be nice if everyone was seated by 1:50p - the DOORS WILL CLOSE AT 2p. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, do not come in.

No. We understand that this may be very upsetting for some of you. We do apologize as we know our wedding will be the only time we see some of you in 2026. We will do our best to see as many people as we can. If we are unable to connect day of, know that we deeply appreciate you attending and hope to see you soon.
