Erin eavesdropped her way into Emmarie's life during their first rugby practice together in 2008 at Siena College. While a drill was being explained to the group, Emmarie and Shanell were having a conversation and heard someone in the background laughing at their jokes. As Erin likes to tell it, Emmarie turned around, gave her a look up-and-down and then she and Shanell stepped aside, allowing Erin to stand in between them. From there, Emmarie & Erin have been inseparable. The pair went on to live together both Sophomore and Senior year of college and were Co-Captains of the rugby team for 2 semesters. These two are more than bestfriends, they are sisters that share many inside jokes and are there for each other no matter what. Could you spare some change please?
Kayle McKeough

Kayle and Ryan tortured each other in many ways throughout their entire lives. Some examples being: -Ryan running over Kayle with his bike -Kayle almost single handedly preventing Ryan from having children with a soccer kick to the testicles -Ryan ending easter egg hunts forever by smashing Kayle over the head with his bag of eggs -Always trying to get the last hit in. Kayle has always been the smart one of the two McKeough brothers. Tech Savvy and always ahead of trends, he seems to always have a scheme going. Ryan's all time favourite Kayle scheme is when he would play World of Warcraft, pretend he was a girl, and hack desperate nerds accounts and sell them for money. Ruthless. Ryan is eternally grateful for having such a great little brother, and couldn't ask for a better best man.
Chanelle "Nellie" Williams

Emmarie and Nellie have known each other since they were 5 years old. They weren't always the best of friends, in fact Nellie got Emmarie suspended from school, not once, but TWICE! However, they were able to get past their childhood differences when it was brought to their attention that they were actually family! They played basketball together for 7 years, starting at St. Angela Merici and going on to Mother Cabrini High School. They spent countless summers walking to 7/11 and hanging out on 161, they even had a scooter club at one point. Even though they had a rocky start, Nellie is the true definition of a "ride or die". Their favorite things to do together are going to concerts, basketball games and riding around in Emmarie's car with the sunroof open blasting ratchet music.
Sam Edmonds

Sam and Ryan met in Junior High School and at first glance, you wouldn't imagine that they would have a lot in common. Sam has always been loud, in your face and outgoing, while Ryan is pretty quiet and reserved. Well that first glance would be wrong. Together, these two would get up to ridiculous antics and find themselves in impossible situations. From terrorizing political events (Where they were more interested in the beer than the politics), to Sam consistently trying to ambush Ryan with the help of Matt Rowlands. One may say these two brought out the best (and worst) in each other. Sam and Ryan have a friendship based on loyalty and camaraderie forged through summers of landscaping, tackles on the rugby pitch, and countless memories.
Brittany Degraffenreid

Emmarie & Brittany met at Ruth Williams Dance Studio when they were 6 years old. They spent a majority of their Saturdays together learning dance routines and eating White Castle during breaks. They ended up attending Mother Cabrini High School together where they became bestfriends and were basically stuck at the hip. They developed a weekly routine, go to Kennedy parties on Friday night, get a short stack from late night Ihop, and then go to RWDS in the morning to assist classes. The pair went on to different Colleges, but the bond they developed over all those years remained strong. Even if they went weeks without speaking, once they did, it was like no time was missed. Brittany will be getting married in April 2020 and Emmarie can't wait to stand along side her on her big day!
Sebastian Melo-Ortiz

Seb and Ryan connected over their love of hockey, UFC, and impossible burgers. Ryan's hockey watching has doubled with just the videos Seb sends him on Instagram alone. Sebastian and Ryan's friendship was one of those that seemed to pick up right where it left off even though they had just met each other. Emmarie views Sebastian as her biggest threat to Ryan's heart, commonly calling him his boyfriend (Their romantic weekend in Montreal didn't help ease her fears). While Ryan says that Emmarie will always have his heart, Sebastian will always be a Hart trophy winner to him.
Shanell Gonzalez

Emmarie & Shanell met at Mother Cabrini High School in 2004 but didn't become really good friends until their senior year. The two learned that they would both be attending Siena College in the fall and quickly decided that they would be roommates after hearing the horror stories of getting stuck with a random. During their freshman year of college, the two became extremely close, so close in fact that there were rumors on campus they were a couple! Emmarie and Shanell lived together all 4 years and because they are 3 days apart they always celebrated their birthdays together, shoutouts to #ShanmarieGlow. Now, they mostly communicate by sending each other ridiculous tweets and videos. These two can find humor in anything with non-stop laughs whenever they hang out.
Nick Didkowsky
Groomsman
Nick and Ryan first met at Acadia University as classmates. They connected over their love of martial arts and their morbid sense of humour. When they weren't pretending to study, they would commonly be at Abhaya Mixed Martial Arts or checking out the old growth forest. Nick introduced Ryan to much of the music that he still listens to today, and they helped each other survive Gary Ness' high standards needed to earn a Kinesiology degree while still managing to have some fun. They even lived together for a year in Australia and set the record for most dumplings consumed in one sitting at Camy Shanghai dumpling house.
Aija Opsis
Bridesmaid
Emmarie & Aija also met at Siena College thanks to rugby! Aija was a junior when Emmarie was a freshman and took her under her wing. Aija would visit Emmarie down campus often and Emmarie knew to always keep some Bud Heavy stocked just in case. Aija, in return, always had Crystal Palace chilling in the freezer of her TH. They hung out during Christmas breaks in the city and Emmarie would get the people in costumes to chase Aija around Times Square for a good laugh. Their friendship really took off when they discovered they were both HUGE DUKE fans. They've spent plenty of nights in bars cheering the Blue Devils on and have even gone to the ACC tournament to see them live (twice)! In 2015, the pair moved in together and threw an amazing party that ended up getting shut down by the cops.
Molly Fogarty

Commonly referred to as Emmarie's boyfriend, Ryan decided to play the ultimate power move and have Molly as his grooms woman. Jokes aside, Molly has been a quality friend for as long as Ryan has known her. She has always made an effort to include Ryan, and has been supportive of Emmarie and Ryan's relationship from the start. Ryan is incredibly excited to have Molly in the wedding party, but is low key concerned she is going to look way better in her tux than him.
