Do I need to get Canadian money?

Answer

Yes, we highly recommend exchanging your USD's to CAD's prior to taking off and flying to Canada.

What do I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Be comfy and colorful. Make sure to pack a layer, as it will be a bit chilly when the sun sets.

How do I get around Nova Scotia?

Answer

If you plan on seeing the sights outside of Halifax itself, you will want to rent a car. There are multiple car rental services at the airport. Public transportation is exclusively buses in the Halifax Regional area, with the ferry service across the Halifax Harbour as the exception. Buses come often enough, but require planning to coordinate your trip. Uber and Lyft don't operate in Halifax, but taxi services have their own apps (Casino Taxi).

How far is it from the airport to the hotel? From the airport to the venue?

Answer

It's a 22 minute drive from the Airport to the Hotel and a 27 minute drive from the Airport to the Venue.

How can we get to the Ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle bus service will be leaving from the Delta Dartmouth Hotel. The first trip is scheduled for 3pm and the second trip is scheduled for 3:40pm. It's a 19 minute drive from the Hotel to the Venue.

Getting back to the Hotel

Answer

The shuttle bus service will depart after the reception and take guests back to the Delta Hotel. The first shuttle will leave at 11:30pm and the second, and final, shuttle will leave at 12:30am.

What if I can't make it to Canada?

Answer

No worries! We will be having a reception type celebration in New York during the Summer of 2020 for anyone who cannot make the trek up North!
