Wedding Party

Meet our favorite people!

Jayd Tibbitts

Matron of Honor

Jayder and I became each other's Maid of Honor when the other two sisters made a "maid of honor pact" when they were 14. Good thing there are four of us! But really, Jayd and Nate are Ethan and my's go-to favs. Their house is our second home (especially mine) and we love our nights on Delano. We share a love of reality television and can't talk to a baby without saying almost the same thing in the same annoying baby voice. She may eat ice cream slower than a snail, but she's my forever best friend and I am so lucky for that.

Aly Gorby

Bridesmaid

Talk about two of the most opposite people. Aly is a 90 year old woman in a 30 year old's body. She loves puzzles and slippers and organizes her grocery cart just like my mother. She's not very outgoing and gets embarrassed super easily. Nothing like me. However, we share a love of murder documentaries and beer and even though she's sick of me after two days, I could spend a whole week with her without being annoyed. She's my favorite person to steal clothes from and always brings me jewelry when I ask. She's the best 90 year old best friend I could ever ask for.

Kasey Gorby

Bridesmaid

Kasey is my personality twin seven years older. We are both feisty and sassy and not afraid to tell each other what we think. She was definitely meant to be an only child, but her life would be so dull without the rest of us. We share a love of Truly's and frozen pizza and neither of us are very good cooks. But, I love all the traits I got from her. I admire how she handles life so gracefully with a few bottles of wine and a few choice swear words. I secretly love when people compare the two of us because it just shows that I'm just becoming more and more like one of my best friends everyday. Who wouldn't want that?

Sarah Buresh

Bridesmaid

Growing up I always wished for a younger sister on my birthday. I wanted one SO bad. Super thankful Ethan had a little sister that became one for me. I got to drop her off at friends houses, watch her play high school sports, go to prom, and go off to college. She became a huge part of my life without even knowing it and I love her so.

BreeAnna Hodel

Bridesmaid

BreeAnna is the only cousin I have that's around the same age. We grew up celebrating holidays and birthdays and everything in between. She was the cutest with her little pig tails. When life got busy, we lost touch. Until I walked into one of my classes at Grand Valley to see her sitting right in the front row. What are the chances of that?! I'm so thankful for that semester because we became closer than ever. We share a love of the great outdoors and denim jackets and she's always down for an adventure; especially in crocs. I'll let her keep all the whiskey and root beers though! Her spunky self has made me a better person and I mean that fully. Our breakfast dates with "black water" will always be my favorite and I'm SO excited to live a short 3 miles away.

Dylan Buresh

Best Man

Dylan and I grew up sharing a room. We were always together growing up and made numerous memories. We would play football in our room during nap time, and somehow our parents would hear us and extend our naps. In college, we shared a room again for 2 years and made some more great memories. Before our biggest football game my senior year, he was snoring so loud that I had to sleep on the couch downstairs. Dylan has a kind heart, and I am very grateful for all of our time together.

Seth Buresh

Best Man

Seth and I became close over the past few years. We started working together on 3rd shift, and we were the only two that could hold a decent conversation. We started lifting together everyday and would make breakfast when we got home. One of my best memories with Seth is when we went to a Metallica concert. We are the same person, just a few years apart.

Cody Buresh

Groomsman

Cody and I used to beat Tyler and Dylan in sports when we were younger and it was a lot of fun. Some of my favorite memories are with him on the football field. He's always down to go fishing and slay some hogs, and I cherish our times together.

Tyler Buresh

Groomsman

Cody and I used to beat Tyler & Dylan in sports when we were younger and it was a lot of fun. He's kind of a nerd, but made the two cutest boys. He is selfless and makes numerous sacrifices for his family. I look up to him in more ways than one.

Chancellor Gorby

Groomsman

When Emmarie and I started dating, I don't think he knew how to feel about me and I still don't think he does. We have gone on a couple fishing trips together and have bonded over Yahtzee in the cabin at night. I'm looking forward to making more memories in the future.

Josh Strube

Groomsman

Josh used to be a big baby growing up, but that has really changed. We would go up to my grandparents every summer for a week. Our families and grandparents would go to Canada every year for a week-long fishing trip. Some of our best memories were made on those vacations and I will remember them forever. I really hope he makes his way back to Michigan in the near future.
