One of our favorite hiking areas. While it is quite a ways out of Denver, the drive is guaranteed to worth it! A breathtaking view awaits at the end of a moderately high climb, a small pond filled with snowmelt runoff is the centerpiece of the trip, but you'll find a small stream that follows down another hiking path. If you're an adventurous outdoors person, or just want to see a truly stunning view. I'd be hard pressed to recommend a better one.
Without a doubt the best mall hands down! While it might seem odd to put it down here, it's a great place to shop for anything you might be missing. There are multiple dining options in the mall and outside of it as well. A BBQ and Ice Cream restaurant The Ice Cream Bar, Fogo de Chao the Brazilian Steak House, PF Changs. It is also within Shuttle distance if you're a guest at The Inverness, so you don't have to drive at all!
Christina and I first went here to celebrate my Birthday. We were completely blown away by their food, service and ambiance! If you're looking to enjoy a finer meal during the wedding trip, Perry's is just the place!
Christina and I have been to Red Rocks multiple times to watch concerts. And while pricy it was worth it every time! Fortunately, there is no charge to visit the venue when there is no concert scheduled. It's also a popular hiking trail, if you can visit it you certainly won't regret it!
Looking for something food to do if you're visiting Downtown Denver? Holey Moley is a mini-golf place with plenty of charm! Christina and I go frequently and it's a great place to have a date night. There is a full service bar with a signature drink served in a mini bathtub complete with mini rubber ducks! Please don't take the bathtub home though! The mini rubber ducks that come with are free to go home with you though!
Brought your family with you and looking for something to keep them entertained on the cheaper side? Monster Mini Golf is the way to go! It's a glow-in-the-dark experience with a small arcade to go with it. Even better, they regularly have deals on Groupon that include arcade credits too! Christina and I go here when we just want to hangout with friends and don't want to break anyone's budget!
Looking for upscale burgers and monstrous milkshakes? Slater's is for you! Christina and I love going here after a night out at Holey Moley or especially after a Bronco's game. While the service is spotty at times, the food is absolutely worth it. If you're craving burgers, I can't think of a better place!
The home of the Denver Bronco's! While the season might not have started yet, you can still travel the grounds. There are tons of statues and tributes. If you're a football fan, it's definitely worth visiting.
Our favorite Japanese inspired arcade! While it's nothing unique to Denver, if you just want a place to play some video games there is no better place! They also have Billiards tables, Ping Pong Tables, Karaoke and Bowling Lanes as well! If you want somewhere to take the family and have some fun, Christina and I highly recommend it!
Christina and I love the Zoo! We go every year to learn about the animals and watch all the shows. If you and your family are looking for something to do outside, then the Zoo is without a doubt a great option!
