When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 3rd, 2025 (as a birthday present to Emmanuel!), but the sooner you have a concrete answer, the better!

No, unless your date has also been indicated in the invitation. Sorry our numbers are T-I-G-H-T.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We request that for the ceremony, no children under the age of 4 be in attendance, but everyone is invited to the reception! We would love to see your babies at the party (but totally respect parents wanting to have a night out too)! Please be sure to indicate whether or not you are bringing your child (4 and up) in the RSVP. Thanks!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal - dress in what makes you feel fun, fancy, and maybe even floral!

Will the wedding take place indoors?

Answer

Yes! The entire ceremony and reception will occur inside the air conditioned space of the More Than Words book store.

Question

Is there parking for the venue?

Answer

There is no onsite parking, although there is a paid parking lot under the bridge near Albany Street one block away from More Than Words (MTW) book store. Metered parking is available on side streets behind MTW. We highly recommend ubering or ridesharing with other guests if possible! By bus, the book store is located on the 9 and 11 bus lines and is a short walk from the Broadway T Stop, which sits on the 47 bus line. NOTE: The T has updated its technology so you don't need a Charlie card to use it - you can just tap a credit card or use Apple Pay to access any public transportation in the city!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive at 5pm promptly. Please be sure to give our venue enough time to set up beforehand and we hope you are in your seat to witness our ceremony on time.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

On Friday 8/1, we will be hosting a welcome event at the AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Downtown. On Sunday 8/3, the day following the wedding, we will be hosting a picnic from 11:30am-1pm in one of our favorite parks (Pope John Paul II Park) near our home for any loved ones still around to hang out. It will be potluck style, but we will provide pizza and some drinks for anyone who comes! See Schedule page for more details!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes - we will offer beer, wine, and a signature mocktail. Many of our loved ones do not drink alcohol, so it's important to us to maintain an environment that feels welcoming to everyone!
