The Wedding Website of Shante Mercer and Emmanuel Melton Jr
Below you will find the special people in our lives that we selected to stand by our side on our wedding day. As we love all our family and friends, it’s nothing like have so many people around to shower us with love and care.

Elisha “The Red Diamond”

Matron of Honor

I first met Elisha Freshman year 2004 in history class. We also had geometry together sophomore year. One of the funniest memories I have from that year is her selling candy in class. We weren’t supposed to do that but Elisha was such a hustler she was going to get it done by any means possible, that is one of the things that I admire most about her. She is also very kind, loving, determined and goes all out. I am so blessed to have her as my other E, God mother to my child and now my matron of honor.

Amber “The Yellow Diamond”

Bridesmaid

I don’t even know where to begin with Amber. All I can say is that I love her. I met her the fall of 2007 during volleyball try outs and I immediately gravitated to her, she was and still is my baby girl. I can ALWAYS count on her for a good time. We have been through SOOOOOOO much with each other. We have gone through “poor” college days together where we shared one CD and split chicken strip baskets together because we didn’t have the money for two. She’s the 0 to my 1 and together we’re the perfect 10.

Da’Naia “The Pink Diamond”

Bridesmaid

I was introduced to Da’naia in 2010 at UMBC and from the very beginning she’s been a positive light of energy. Her smile literally brightens a room. She’s been a person I know that I can tell anything to and those secrets will never leave her mouth. She’s a friend that I can ALWAYS count on to come through for me in anything that I do and she knows that I have her. You don’t come across many people like Da’Naia and I’m BEYOND blessed to have her in my life. She’s the little foot to my big foot.
