What started as childhood best friends has turned into over 22 years of doing life side by side. Mackenzie and Kenzie have walked through every season together from growing up to stepping into adulthood and have supported each other through many life stages including adoption and raising kids. Now, as she’s been faithfully cheering Kenzie on into marriage (since she’s had a head start 😉), she continues to be one of Kenzie's biggest supporters and constants.

Kenzie's cousin, but truly more like a little sister. Kenzie had the honor of walking alongside Lilly through so many special moments being part of her wedding and getting to be a there as her babies were born. Now, it means so much to have Lilly standing beside Kenzie on her wedding day.
Kari

Kenzie has known Kari since she was a young teenager, but really became close as adults doing life side by side. Kari has been one of Kenzie's biggest supporters through the foster care journey showing up in the hard moments and somehow making her laugh when she'd rather cry. Kari's sense of humor keeps Kenzie going, and Kari's collection of questionable health foods and tinctures keeps Kenzie “healthy”… or at least convinces her she is. Either way, life is a lot better (and definitely more entertaining) with Kari in it.
Eliona

Another sweet cousin who Kenzie has shared so many special memories with especially camping trips and time spent together growing up. Eliona has such a gentle, kind spirit, and Kenzie has always loved being around her. Kenzie is so grateful she gets to be part of this day.
Rachel
Long Distance Bridesmaid
Kenzie's long-distance bridesmaid, who will be there in spirit even though she can’t be with us in person due to military obligations. Rachel married into the family, but from the moment Kenzie and Rachel met at a McDonald’s outside of West Point in May 2023, they instantly clicked. Kenzie is so thankful Isaiah brought her into the family - she’s such a gift, and Kenzie is so grateful for the bond they’ve built.

Emmanuel met Michael when he first arrived at YWAM MT and right then he knew he met a brother. Michael helped him to get settled and has been a good friend and prayer partner. Michael invited Emmanuel in as an extended part of their family.
Kyle

Kyle has not only been a leader but a place of safety for Emmanuel. Kyle is a great friend, who is kind, generous, and is a visionary. Kyle is American but carries African vibes.
Caleb

Caleb has been very intentional in building a relationship with Emmanuel, not just as a friend but as a good neighbor. Caleb always checks in on how Emmanuel is doing. Caleb has been very excited about the journey that Emmanuel has been walking and is always praying for him.

Tenis is a rock-solid friend with a heart of gold, gentle spirit and always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand. Emmanuel is lucky to have Tenis on this big day.

Benjamin embodies humility and heart that leads with love. He has a commitment to pushing others to Jesus. Emmanuel is honored to have Benjamin beside him for his big day.
Isaiah
Long Distance Groomsmen
Emmanuel's long-distance groomsmen, who cannot be here in person due to military obligations. Isaiah is McKenzie's cousin and lifelong best friend. Isaiah and McKenzie grew up closely together as "The Originals" in the cousin group, going on trips with their grandparents. McKenzie will miss him in person but both Emmanuel and McKenzie know he is supporting from afar and they appreciate the sacrifice he is making for our country!
