Don't stress! We will be providing printed pamphlets that you can use to follow along during the service. These pamphlets will include all of the prayers, readings, and songs for the ceremony---as well as when to stand, sit, or kneel. A Catholic mass is highly participation-driven, so there will be lots of opportunities to engage with the ceremony, but everyone is welcome to participate to their own comfort level.
Nope!! We appreciate any donations to our registry cash funds, but we are happy to accept a gift not on the registry--or that you already own--or an in-person contribution to a fund in the form of cash/check. Here are some ideas for picking out a gift: 1. Gifts that will last for the entirety of our marriage (more or less) are preferred, rather than disposable items (such as nice towels, etc). We want to enjoy your gifts for as long as we can! 2. Please keep in mind that we are transitioning into a tiny house, so we'll have less-than-average space. 3. We welcome food items (such as cured meats, olive oil, wine, etc). Please don't feel obligated to bring a gift; these are just for inspiration if you are inclined to do so. If you would like to make a contribution to a charity in place of a gift, we would be happy to accept this.
No; it's longer now!
