Wedding Party

Joely

Maid of Honor

Joely and I met in our freshman year at college. Through road trips, our love for Jesus, being senior year roommates, and Joely’s amazing hosting abilities, our friendship has only deepened! We are an unbeatable duo in Codenames and great partners in Spikeball too! We love Joely because she embodies warmth, joy and so much love!

Andrew

Best Man

Andrew and I began our friendship back in cub scouts when we both joined as Tigers in first grade. Over the past twenty years we have been to tons of camping outings, scared away bears, hundreds of hours playing Halo, running around in the backyard with toy guns, almost getting arrested, and plenty more crazy experiences. Andrew and I have done so many things together and known each other for so long that we might as well be brothers.

Miranda

Maid of Honor

Miranda and I met in third grade. Throughout the years, we have enjoyed her wedding, Holiday World, games nights, and just the joy of having one another in each other’s lives! I think some of my favorite memories are still from goofy moments created in high school. We love that she is effortlessly hilarious, yet she is consistently profound and thoughtful with everything she says.

Andre

Best Man

Andre and I met in our English class in Junior year of high school. We had so much fun in that class that we had to get permanently separated from each other. During our five years of living with each other, we enjoyed plenty of parties, late night gaming, getting in shape, and only one noise complaint. I look forward to many more years of banter, late night gaming and conversations, and our latest hobby and love for miniature wargaming and board games.

Bella

Bridesmaid

Bella is my (Emmalee) youngest sister! During Covid, Bella and I were able to have wonderful quality time together with badminton, board games, Call of Duty and just goofy fun. I think my favorite memory of my sis recently is her knack for quoting Emperor’s New Groove with perfect tone and cadence. Bella is not only delightfully fun and goofy, but she is considerate, humble and funny.

Adam

Groomsman

Adam and I met in sixth grade and quickly became best friends. Throughout middle school and high school we always played the same positions in sports whether it was cornerbacks in football or midfielders in lacrosse. Alongside the many hours of practices and games, Adam and I have shared many experiences of gaming where he gained his nickname "The Golden One", driving to the police station together, the many house parties, and him always explaining the D&D rules to me.

Natosha

Bridesmaid

Natosha is my oldest sister! One of my favorite memories was for Tosh's 31st birthday, Natosha held a slumber party with all her girls. The night was filled the snacks, margaritas and singing along to pop hits until bedtime. Natosha is fiercely loyal, witty, down-to-earth, and loves her family so well.

Clay

Groomsman

Clay and I met in middle school at one of our friends' house gatherings. Throughout high school and college (and still to this day) we spent an egregious amount of time playing a game called Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). Whenever we were not playing CS:GO, we were trying to survive our favorite programming language, Racket, in our Programming Languages and Compilers classes. During the many house parties, Clay and I were always the problem and I hope to continue that trend forever.

Veronica

Bridesmaid

Veronica is my younger sister! Even though it is minor, one of my favorite memories of Veronica is during a roadtrip, we were sitting in the back together. She put her headphones in and said, “If you hear me playing screamo music, mind ya bizness…” It makes me smile every time, but overall she is hilarious! She’s a fantastic storyteller, an avid pasta lover, and the ultimate hype woman who always knows how to lift your spirits. Veronica brightens up any room she is in, and loves her people so well!

Matthew

Groomsman

Matthew and I met in sixth grade after Andrew and Adam introduced us to each other. We quickly became friends after we both expressed our love for SpongeBob and always being goofy. Thankfully Matthew and I were in the same major in college to where every semester we could at least share one course and make our lives a bit easier. I will forever remember the moment when Matthew got called out for foul language at our friends' house whenever everyone else had even fouler language.

Cassidy

Bridesmaid

Cassidy was my fieldwork educator who turned into a cherished friend during my clinical rotation in California! I was navigating a whole new area while also being off the grid, and Cassidy welcomed me with open arms, showed me beautiful waterfalls, and helped me to create SO many fun and sweet memories. From cringey radio proposals, to blind karaoke (which I am really bad at), to eating cold spaghetti from a bag in her car. Cassidy is sincere, ambitious, goofy, and an extremely encouraging friend!

Zach

Groomsman

Despite playing sports together in our early days, Zach and I met officially in high school. He is hands down the greatest out of the entire friends group at video games. There is rarely any game that I could beat Zach at, and typically it is still very close if I do beat him. During many of the weekends at the house in college, we enjoyed laid back nights playing games like Dokapon Kingdom and Mariokart. To this day we spend plenty of nights playing a number of video games where I end up losing.

Amanda

Bridesmaid

Amanda is my OT (occupational therapy) school bestie! We bonded over New Girl quotes and WAY too many “that’s what she said” jokes during school, which always had Shane (another classmate) shaking his head at us. I think my favorite memories were made when we were lab partners during Biomechanics 3 (making orthoses) because we would just bounce jokes back and forth! I also love our times to catch up over Mexican food and margs! Amanda is fun-loving, relaxed, incredibly sharp, trustworthy, and a draft/bourbon queen!

Hunter

Groomsman

Although we went to middle and high school together, Hunter and I became friends in freshman year of college. Over the many parties we had in the apartment and the house he would become the great late night snack chef and the ultimate host. We were always the ones trying to keep the house clean after every weekend party, despite us probably being the biggest contributors to that mess. Instead of house parties now, Hunter and I get to continue to host weekly parties online playing video games.
