Things To Do

We both moved to Boston in 2009 and have seen a lot, done a lot, and eaten at a lot of places here ever since. If you're looking for things to do in the city (besides, uh, the wedding) here are some of our favorites.

Honeycomb Creamery

1702 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02138
, (617) 714-3983

Our neighborhood ice cream spot. Emma-Jean's favorite flavor is the Basil Goat Cheese. Andrew likes to get a milkshake, to the chagrin of everyone working behind the counter.

Boston Public Garden

4 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02116
, (617) 635-4505

This was our backyard when we were students at Emerson. A typical tourist recommendation but makes for a nice walk in the summer.

Coolidge Corner Theatre

290 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA 02446
, (617) 734-2501

Probably the most beautiful and historic movie theater in the area, we came here on one of our first dates to see Manhattan.

Mamaleh's Delicatessen

Cambridge, MA 02139
, (617) 958-3354

This is one of our go-to spots, for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and it was ranked one of the country's best new restaurants by Bon Appétit!

Flour Bakery & Cafe

Flour Bakery & Cafe

1595 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02118
, (617) 267-4300

Emma gets the lemon meringue pie and Andrew gets the raspberry crumb bar. Chef Joanne Chang also owns a Chinese restaurant in the South End called Myers + Chang.

Esplanade

Esplanade

1 David G Mugar Way, Boston, MA 02114

The Esplanade is a great place to run, walk, bike and people watch - you can even rent a kayak or paddle board if you're feeling adventurous.

For all the days along the way
