Where are the ceremony and reception being held?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Northern Oaks Events, located just outside Sauk Rapids, MN. The main building is not visible from the road; please approach the final turn cautiously so as not to miss it! Be on the lookout for a lamp post and mini log cabin with the name "Northern Oaks Events". What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is set to begin promptly at 3:30 pm; guests should arrive with sufficient time to park and settle into your seats beforehand. As noted on the "Travel" tab above, there is some construction on Hwy 10, so please allocate extra time for traffic delays.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
There is a large parking lot onsite at Northern Oaks, as well as labeled handicap parking spots. From the road, guests should follow the paved driveway and may elect to drop off passengers at the main house before proceeding on to the parking lot. Please note the parking lot and paths are graveled; additionally, the walk from the parking lot to the ceremony space may be significant to older guests or those in heels. A golf cart can be made available.

What should I wear?
Answer
The couple is asking guests to follow a semi-formal dress code. For women, some examples may include a classy midi dress or jumpsuit; and men may wear slacks, tie, and jacket optional. Please keep in mind the October timing and outdoorsy location. Expect the ceremony to be outdoors (weather permitting), the ground to be uneven, and ending the evening by a bonfire.

Answer
The couple appreciates all your love and support! If you wish to give a gift, please use the links provided on the "Registry" tab above; there you should find links to their favorite shops: Honeyfund, Target, Amazon, and others.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Emma and Charles love children and wish everyone could join in the celebration! However, the couple has decided to limit the children in attendance to only immediate nieces, nephews, and first cousins. If you are still unsure, please look to your invite/RSVP which should indicate the number seats allocated to your party. Thank you!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Unless otherwise noted, please refrain from bringing additional guests, as there will not be sufficient seating or refreshments. Utilize your invite/RSVP for guidance as to the number of seats allocated to your party.

Are there overnight accommodations at the venue?
Answer
Unfortunately no. All overnight stays must be booked at a nearby hotel or AirBnB. The couple has set up courtesy room blocks at two local hotels, see "Travel" tab above for booking instructions. For guest safety, overnight parking is allowed for passenger vehicles (no RVs or trailers) until 10 am the following morning. Uber and Lyft do service the area, but availability is not guarantied.
