We met as kids at Lindbergh High School — Zed, an 18-year-old with a love for baseball, cars, and a good time, and Emma, a 16-year-old with a heart for art, the outdoors, and caring for kids. From the very beginning, we just clicked. What started as a friendship quickly became something more. We spent nearly every day with our big group of friends — taking long drives, hiking to hidden swimming spots, and laughing until our stomachs hurt. Somewhere in between all those adventures, we realized there was something deeper growing between us. Soon, group hangouts turned into just the two of us — endless text messages, late-night drives in Zed’s VW, quick stops at the barn so Emma could feed the horses before heading off on whatever adventure came next. Life felt simple, exciting, and full of possibility. As we tried to figure out who we were and where life was taking us, we hit our share of bumps in the road. Like many young couples, we needed time to grow into ourselves before we could truly grow together. For a while, life pulled us in different directions. But somehow… some way… we always found our way back to each other. Love really does conquer all. Through the years, surrounded by the most incredible friends — camping, celebrating, learning, and growing through our twenties — we realized it was finally time to take the next step. Growing up didn’t feel so scary when we had each other and such an amazing community supporting us. Some days it feels like we’ve already lived four or five lifetimes together, and yet we know this is just the beginning. We couldn’t imagine a life where we aren’t choosing each other, over and over again. We are beyond excited to start this next chapter — to continue loving one another endlessly, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.
