RIC (Richmond International Airport)

Richmond airport is about a 1.5 hour drive from our room blocks in Charlottesville. We recommend renting a car if you will be arriving at this airport and heading to Charlottesville from there, or there are Amtrak busses that run between downtown Richmond and Charlottesville.

DCA is about a 2.5-3 hour drive to our room blocks in Charlottesville. We recommend renting a car if you will be arriving at this airport and heading to Charlottesville from there. OR There are Amtrak trains that run from either Union Station in DC (WAS station) or Alexandria, VA (ALX station) to Charlottesville (2.5 hour ride).

Travel Note

WEDDING PARTY: Details for Staying On Site

For wedding party and immediate family staying on site, you can arrive anytime after 12PM on Friday, August 15. The cabins will be available for check-in at 4PM (early check-in may or may not be available). Reservations are already made, so all you have to do is show up! Will and Emma will communicate cabin assignments closer to the event. If you'd like to arrive earlier on Thursday night and stay on site, reach out to Emma and Will for cabin assignments so you can book your same cabin for an extra night! Cabin checkout on Sunday is at 10:30am, but we have Montfair reserved until 3PM on Sunday so feel free to hang around and take advantage of all the activities our venue has to offer! The cabins are very rustic (think parent trap / summer camp), but all linens are provided and the kitchens are fully equipped. The site has limited cell service, but there is wifi at the main lodge and each cabin. Details on each cabin can be found in the link below, and the site map can be found on the Gallery tab. You will pass the main parking lot on the way in, but you can park immediately in front of each cabin.
