Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Emma Walsh and Ryan Hollreiser
Our favourite people, assembled into one ❤️‍🔥

Nicola Blackburn

Maid of Honor

After Facebook stalking Nicola before first year, Emma asked her to be her roommate and what came after is a lifelong friendship and an unofficial adoption into the Walsh family. Seriously, she is definitely the favourite child. She's so great that she is almost forgiven for moving to Australia... almost.

Ben Gloger

Groomsman

Ben is Ryan’s brother and lifelong Halo sparring partner. He’s older and likes to pretend he’s wiser, but Ryan knows the truth after Lake Austin. Always looking out for his little brother, he’s also the only person who could survive a New York to LA road trip with Ryan without ditching him at a gas station.

Alix Longwell

Maid of Honor

In Fresher's Week at St Andrews, Alix texted to see if she could hang out in Emma and Nicola's dorm room, and the rest is history. Most likely to be spotted enthusiastically pointing out saxophones, in a club in her pajamas, sneaking us free coffees, or reminding everyone that we were (academically) married long before Ryan came around.

Harrison Walsh

Groomsman

…but you can call him Hairball. Emma's oldest (fact) and wiser (sometimes) brother. When he’s not off in some obscure corner of the world or churning out bestselling albums, you’ll usually find Harry on the Friend St. couch, making us dinner and complaining about Bob (whom he secretly loves).

Olivia Hollreiser

Bridesmaid

Olivia is Ryan’s younger sister by three years and proof that high volume runs in the family. From a childhood spent appeasing the Council of Magical Sombreros to an adult life defined by unstoppable glass clinking, she has been a constant source of energy, chaos, and fun. She brings maximum enthusiasm to everything she does and Ryan wouldn’t have it any other way, even if some insist that the cheersing does need to stop eventually.

Jack Walsh

Groomsman

You know him, you love him: it’s the Jackal. Jack has known Emma since birth. When asked if he wanted to meet her, he refused, declaring she was “too dirty.” Typical Jackal behaviour. These days you'll find him parading down the streets of Bristol, watching Halloweentown 2: Kalabar's Revenge (his favourite movie) or complaining about Heathrow Airport in the family group chat.

Gabbie Selby

Bridesmaid

Real ones know her as Emma and Ryan's co-host on their hit podcast "WTF are you talking about?". When Ryan needed a flatmate when first moving to London, he got put in touch with a fellow St Andrews grad who he had never met. Enter Gabbie, or Goobie, who quickly realized she was now stuck with us for life (she had no choice in the matter).

Alaia Nicholson

Groomswoman

Where would Ryan be without Alaia? She’s been by his side for 15 years now, through high school, university, and right into life in London. Miscreants insinuate that she just follows him around, but Ryan knows the truth: she choosen to have his back all this time and he couldn't be more grateful. He’d be utterly lost without her - but don’t let her know we told you that!

Gigi Harrington

Bridesmaid

It's Juh-gee! The notorious GINGE! To know any Walsh is to know (and love) Gigi. Emma's surrogate big sister, teenage style inspiration (even with the ripped tights), and favourite person. Except the one time she made fun of my headgear. Definitely did not win the favourite person award then.

Spencer Caminsky

Groomsman

Churchill and Roosevelt. Swift and Antonoff. Hollreiser and Caminsky. This iconic duo thrives on one rule: whatever one dreams up, the other is all in. Parties and games, bits and music: no hesitation, no second thoughts, just wholehearted hype. Critics call it nonsense. They call it friendship. Anybody can get it. The hard part is keeping it.

Ali Drabu

Officiant

Man, myth, legend. We searched across the globe - from the electric streets of London to the utopian hills of distant Makatar - to find the only man capable of officiating our wedding. Always ready to celebrate the joys of life with his friends, we couldn’t be more honored to have him at the helm. MAN 1 - 0 UTD

Matthew Billinghurst

Groomsman

When Ryan moved 5,000 miles from Los Angeles to the Isle of Man, he was adrift in a cold, foggy sea. Matthew was the first to take him under his wing. What was meant to be a quick rugby lesson stretched into one of those endless Manx summer nights. The rest is history.

Mr. Bennet

Cat of Honor

He's currently in training to be the ringbearer, and he's doing great as long as nobody looks directly at him.

Bob

Cat of Dishonour

No further explanation needed.
