Emma and Ryan's Pub Quiz Spectacular!

For those wonderful folks who have come to town on the first day of activities, please join us for a non-hosted gathering in Edinburgh to join in the classic British tradition of a Pub Quiz, led by your illustrious hosts Ryan & Emma. Test your skills, get to know other wedding guests, and join the the pre-wedding buzz! ❤️‍🔥 No dress code, come as you are! NOTE: We are using the RSVPs from this to determine what size of venue is needed. We will confirm location details once numbers are known, so please check back on the website. Also please be aware, many Edinburgh pubs are not open to anyone under 18, so this many not be suitable to those travelling with children.

Emma & Ryan's Welcome Ceilidh

Join us for an evening of dinner, drinks and dancing at Dundas Castle to kick festivities off with a bang! Explore the castle (and keep your eyes peeled for hidden secrets!) before a relaxed meal and a traditional Scottish Ceilidh. This organised dance is a mainstay of Scotland, but if it's your first time, don't worry. A caller will take us through the steps and getting it wrong is part of the dance. You haven't experienced Scotland if you haven't done Strip The Willow! The dress code is dressy casual, feel free to bring in any Scottish and tartan flair! The venue is grassy and cobbled, so please be wary of footwear and only wear heels you are comfortable with. If partaking in the ceilidh, please wear shoes that you are happy to dance in!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception 💕

The ✨big day✨! The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m., with a cocktail hour and evening reception to follow. The wedding is formal/black-tie optional, so long dresses, suits, tuxes, and kilts are appropriate. The venue is grassy and cobbled, so please be wary of footwear/stilettos and only wear what you are comfortable with. For further information, including about kilts, please see our FAQs. If you are staying at the Dakota Hotel, there will be transport to and from the ceremony. A schedule for this will be made available closer to the time. If you are staying elsewhere, we suggest you pre-book transportation as it may be difficult to secure a cab in the area on the day. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Edinburgh Pub Crawl

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

If you're still in town, we'll be moving through the city on a non-hosted pub crawl and would love to have you join us to cap off the wedding weekend! Come for one pint or come for many, we'd love to see you for however long we can. No dress code, come as you are! Be sure to have a jacket on you as we may be outside at some locations.
