Car
If you're planning on driving, Basin Harbor is about 4 hours from Boston and 5 hours from New York. If you're leaving Friday afternoon, we recommend budgeting a little extra time to account for traffic. A rental car could be a great idea if you'd like to explore Vergennes & to easily get back to the airport. Uber/Lyft will only transport from Airport to Basin Harbor Club - they will not pick up at the Resort. The fare would be around $60. Call the concierge at 802 475-2311 in order to inquire about arrangements with other transportation companies.
Flight
Burlington International Airport BTV
The closest airport is Burlington, VT (BTV). Basin Harbor is about a 45-minute drive south of BTV. Two other airports to consider are Albany International Airport (ALB) and Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL). Both airports are a little over 2 hours away from Basin Harbor. While Uber and taxis are both available in BTV, ALB, and YUL, we recommend renting a car, as service will be limited at Basin Harbor to return to the airport.
