It all started when Emma was at St. Marks and met this good looking, well spoken, young gentleman, who was not the groom, but, Henry Romeyn. Henry was usually dressed in an argyle sweater, composed and seemed to be friends with everyone. Their friendship blossomed and remained strong even through college as their paths sent Emma to Bucknell and Henry to Trinity College, where he majored in socializing. One of the people he socialized with, was this handsome, well dressed, funny, smart, intelligent, popular, young gentleman named Rob. Enter the groom. In the summer of 2014, all of us were interning in Boston. Emma had made dinner plans with her old roommate from St. Marks, Jane Merrifield, the head bridesmaid. Rob had made plans to have a nice dinner with Henry on Newbury Street in Boston around 6:30 PM. Jane had to cancel the meal. Henry can be a bit of a flake and per usual, ended up with a better invitation and went to dinner with some girl named "Emma" instead. Once out with this stunning girl, the guilt set in and Henry decided to save his butt and send Rob an invite to his own dinner. Rob walks in, does not even have time to acknowledge Henry, but instead makes eye contact with the absolutely gorgeous girl sitting across from him and proceeds to sit right next to her. Even though Emma had her reservations at first, Rob knew the second she agreed to go halfsies on his chicken and her pasta that she was the one for him. Now you all are reading the wedding website, so once again he was right.
