Give 'em a call! You are welcome to put your kayaks in at Arey Cove. The Sparrow's house is also a great place to launch your kayak.

Day Trip to North Haven Island

There is a very nice golf course on North Haven! It is a very short kayak over to North Haven from Vinalhaven, via the North Haven boat launch at the end of the North Haven Rd. You can call for a short water taxi ride across the Fox Island Thorough Fare from VH to North Haven at the boat launch at the end of North Haven Rd. $10.00 per person, roundtrip. North Haven Brewing Company is a great stop, and a very short walk! You are welcome to look into eating at the sought after Turner Farm on North Haven. Dinning reservation tickets required to be purchased online in advance.

Skal! Excellent cocktails. Cozy atmosphere. One of my favorite local establishments! Check out their website for the calendar of events and buy tickets ahead of time for the music nights. You won't be bummed!

Check out the Island Historical Society

Open roughly Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm. There is a lot of interesting history about Vinalhaven in there. It is pretty fun to check out!
