What's the vibe?

Answer

Doing Kendrick's favorite thing: drinking. Doing Emma's favorite thing: dancing. Doing both while looking really stylish with funny people.

Question

Answer

Formal, unless you are willing to commit to a full-fledged clown costume complete with makeup. Men: suit and tie Women: nice dresses, jumpsuits Nonbinaries: any of the above Don't wear white or you'll be placed in the aforementioned clown costume.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is located in historic Ballard. While Ballard has plenty of street parking, it can be a bit of a hunt (think of Old Town Alexandria, for my Virginians). We recommend using Uber/Lyft to get to the venue.

Question

What's the drink sitch?

Answer

We will have an open bar providing beer, wine, and 2 signature cocktails. We'll also have water and soda.

Question

Food?

Answer

Catering is provided by Wood Shop BBQ, our favorite west coast BBQ spot. Having lived next to a BBQ place in rural Virginia where you could literally hear the hogs, Emma can attest to the quality of this BBQ (unless something horrible happens with the catering, in which case -- sorry!). We'll have vegetarian BBQ sandwiches available, as well as gluten free buns and a confirmation from the caterer that many of their meat items are gluten free. Meal will include meat or meat-substitute and sides. We'll have cake as well!

Question

Are you accepting gifts?

Answer

In lieu of physical gifts, we are accepting donations towards our honeymoon fund! Guests are not expected nor required to contribute - your presence is a present (except for Eric; he doesn't pay rent and IS required to contribute).

Question

Are you accounting for Seattle weather?

Answer

Yes. The wedding is indoors to avoid the potential for rain and smoke. You can stand outside to vape and roast bones.

Question

May I bring a +1?

Answer

If your invitation specifically indicated that you may bring a +1, then yes. If your invitation did NOT specifically include a +1, then you may not. No randos, sorry.

Question

Am I allowed to say "MAH WIFE" in the Borat voice?

Answer

No. Only Kendrick is allowed to do that.
