Maid of Honor
No better friend than a sister! A special memory with Abby is when she spent a week with Josh and Emma in AZ where she got to spend quality time with them and get to know Josh on a deeper level...including his huge fear of heights, LOL!
Matron of Honor
Sister from another mister! Lexie and Emma's brother, Sam, officially got married in 2021, though she was welcomed into the family long before that. With Lexie and Emma being so close in age, the 2 became fast friends and have many memories over the years, including trips to New York and AZ, as well as many girls nights out. Now with the newest addition to the family, Lucy, Emma looks forward to all the girls nights IN and spending time with her new niece.
Bridesmaid
Josh's sister, Becky, welcomed Emma into the family immediately when she heard the news of the couple dating, even though Emma and Becky didn't even get to meet in person for almost another year after the fact. Becky has been so supportive of Josh and Emma, and they always look forward to trips to New Mexico to visit her and their new niece and nephew.

Syd and Emma were roommates for 2 years during college at St. Ben's. Often, if you found one, the other wasn't too far off. From doing nursing school together, to sharing a bedroom...and closets, to traveling to South Africa together they were a duo through and through!

Jess and Emma became close friends during college at St. Ben's and then decided to get an apartment together in Rochester when they both landed nursing jobs at Mayo Clinic. Of all of the memories, some include cabin weekends, road trip to Florida, and being roommates the first year they lived in Rochester.
Bridesmaid
Another St. Ben's friend, Kayla was always the one to provide endless laughs. Emma has many memories with Kayla, and odds are, a funny story could be told from every single one. Between cabin weekends, spring break trips, and nights out, Kayla always comes with a good time.
Bridesmaid
Emma met Kinsey while at work at Mayo, when Kinsey floated to the floor that Emma was working on. They soon found out that they lived in the same apartment building...and the rest is history! The two became fast friends and ended up becoming roommates the following year in a house that they rented in Rochester.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Emma became friends through Josh. When Emma and Josh started dating, Melissa and her husband, Chris, were the first people Josh wanted Emma to meet since they were his "Rochester family." Soon enough, this became true for Emma too, and the group of 4 are often spending their time together with Chris and Melissa's 3 kids with summer grill outs, vacations together, weekend bonfires, or grabbing a pizza on a Friday night.
Best Man
Ever heard of a work spouse? Brother from another mother? For Josh, that person would be Chris. These 2 became fast friends when they did their prelim year at Mayo Clinic, and have not been separated since. Melissa and Emma joke that these 2 are way too similar and are really going to struggle as they embark on a long distance relationship as Chris, Melissa, and their 3 kids move to Napa Valley for Chris to further his training.
Groomsman
Josh and his half brother, Chris, have many memories of stirring up chaos at home as kids, including playing baseball in the house, with Chris pitching Josh a Burger King Whopper Jr. and Josh hitting the burger into a home run...all over the ceiling. Year later, Chris now is enlisted in the military, but Chris and Josh still find time to joke around and see what else they can get up to.
Groomsman
Emma's oldest brother, Josh got to know Kevin from many family gatherings, weddings, and the occasional Becker sibling night out. Josh's favorite memory with Kevin is going to the MN Gopher Football game to celebrate Josh's 30th birthday.
Groomsman
Emma's other older brother, Josh got to know Sam and his wife Lexie and their daughter Lucy through many family gatherings. Josh's favorite memory with Sam is going up to Sam and Lexie's cabin over Labor Day weekend of 2022, learning what a real MN summer is all about.

What does brewing beer, learning about finances, and medicine have in common? Some could say we did things wrongly, but we like to think we did think Rightley 😊 From being roommates in medical school to seeing Eric start his journey as a father and husband, we have had our share of memories. He would be happy to know Josh took all of his financial advice and did the exact opposite of it for this wedding!

No matter how much time passes, Josh knows he could call up “Big D” as Josh knows he would do anything for me in a second. Josh and Darellyn would push each other on the football field, weight room, and challenge each other to get out of our comfort zone. Josh never could jump quite as high as him, but Josh made a better batch of popcorn at their time working at the movie theater together. Josh has seen this guy excel on the football field, push himself academically, get married, and now start a beautiful family. Big D will always be a part of Josh's story.

Ever wonder how Josh got those thunder thighs? Well some would say it came from my gummy bear obsession, but Josh likes to think it came from being in the squat rack with this guy. To the guy that was the best weight room partner Josh ever had and pushed him to break our school squat record (that Jacob broke the next year haha). Josh would go on hikes with "shake and bake Jake" and is one of the only people Josh knows who says as many off the wall comments as him. Be careful, if you look at them from afar you may think they are the same person, but of course he’s only a BIT taller than Josh (thanks dad!).

“Rob,” as people know him, and Josh knew they were in the trenches together, taking call together in our early years of residency. The stories they could tell from these weekends and nights could fill an evening, but when you think of someone who made a large impact on Josh in a short period of time, look no further than this guy. Rob is one of the most genuine people we know and he and Josh have become each other’s personal counselors (kidding, kind of). Let’s just say these two latin cats had a lot of jokes over the years being surrounded by cheese curds and lots of “don’t cha knows” here in Minnesnowta!

When I think back to starting my first year in PM&R residency, I can’t help but think of the days with this guy. From being known as the “swab squad” during COVID, to joining every recreational league one can think of, to the famous “Mazda” talks after work, no doubt we have had our share of memories. Justin is the guy who brings everyone together for a good time and doesn’t hide his passion during a NCAA National championship or a random pickle ball game (to him every game is the SuperBowl haha). Despite never telling anyone how much he likes the Baylor Bears, I am glad he will be a part of the special day and my partner in crime in case anyone needs to be swabbed for COVID.

When you think of Florida sun, someone who is granola’y, and loves to workout, look no further than T. North. Me and this guy navigated the Sports Medicine fellowship match process together and have many memories traveling to conferences together throughout residency. Any time I need an early morning workout, shoulder rehab during work, or someone to grab an Acai bowl with, I know a guy. The days of us reminiscing about the “good ol’” days in sports and complaining about how much our body hurts now, have just begun!
