We would love if you joined us for the whole weekend! Camp Arowhon offers accommodation for a flat fee of $250/person. This includes a cabin for both Friday and Saturday night. Accommodations are private, rustic and include a sink and toilet. Showers are in a separate building, with private stalls. For those who elect to stay the weekend (hopefully everyone!), meals and beverages will be provided! Camp Arowhon isn't set up for processing payments. In your RSVP, please indicate that you will be staying at camp and then e-transfer jackmolnar@me.com. Please indicate in the e-transfer note which guests you are paying for and we will be sure to pass the funds along. If you are not from Canada, your best option for international transfers is through Wise.
In an effort to manage numbers, your invitation will indicate if you have been allocated a plus-one. Additional plus-ones will be handed out on a case-by-case basis once we have received returned RSVPs. Please reach out to emmabjackm@gmail.com if you would like to be considered.
No! Since you are already spending money to come stay a weekend at Camp with us, we are not asking for gifts. If you wish to ignore this and are interesting in giving a gift anyways, we are open to monetary gifts for our upcoming Honeymoon. We are so excited and honoured to have you travel all this way to come celebrate in a place that means so much to us. Camp Arowhon is rustic, but very comfortable, and around this time of year we are hoping the fall colours will be in their full prime! We hope you all use this opportunity to embrace the outdoors, try something new, and make a new friend.
A mirror for getting ready (Arowhon cabins are mirror-free!) Reusable water bottle Fitted sheets, duvet and/or sleeping bag & pillow. Refer to your packing list for which size bedding you require. If you are coming internationally, we will provide this for you. Swimsuit Towel Rain gear (rain coat and/or umbrella) Sturdy footwear Flashlight or headlamp Toiletries (don't forget sunscreen!) Semi-formal attire for the big event! Special snacks or drinks (all food and drinks are included in your stay, but if you want particular snacks or drinks for your cabin, you are welcome to bring them!) Instruments for playing by the fire!
Outdoors, weather permitting! If everyone could please start ~manifesting~ for good weather now, that would be appreciated. We do have a back up plan for an indoor ceremony just in case.
Our wonderful photographer will be taking photos during the ceremony, and we will be happy to share these after the event. You are more than welcome (and are encouraged!) to take as many pictures any other time.
Your cabins are WiFi free, but there is WiFi in the main lodge. Cell reception can be spotty in the Park!
No problem! Just indicate this on your RSVP so we know not to assign you a cabin.
Yes and no! Arowhon has a few ground rules to keep in mind before arriving: - if you do bring alcohol, please bring cans only (no glass bottles) - if you are drinking, please no boating or swimming (safety first!!) - open flames and smoking (of all substances...) are only allowed in designated areas, which will be pointed out after arrival - please leave pets at home (trust us, if Pajamas could come to our wedding, she would be there) - other than that, go wild!!!
