Emma and Jack first met on a classic night out in Wrigleyville —because nothing says “true love” like loud music, crowded bars, and questionable drink choices. Shortly after, Emma moved to Minneapolis for a year, but the story didn’t end there. Thanks to social media, the occasional drunk-text, and perfect timing, they managed to stay very loosely in touch. When Emma moved back to Chicago to start PA school at Northwestern, fate (and maybe a little liquid courage) stepped in again. They reconnected, picked up right where they left off, and quickly realized this was more than just a fun night out story. Although it definitely didn't come without its challenges. Emma was living her best downtown high-rise life on the 21st floor, while Jack was firmly committed to the suburban lifestyle and was—unfortunately for him—deathly afraid of heights. Jack had a charmingly wild side, often cruising into the city on his motorcycle to meet Emma during one of her rare study breaks, which her rule-following self largely refused to take. Essentially, picture the two most opposite people you could possibly imagine with absolutely nothing in common...that was Jack and Emma when they first met. Somehow, it all worked. The rest, as they say, is history—and now here we are, ready to celebrate forever.
