Our Neighbourhood Favourites

If you’re staying in Santa Catalina, here are a few of our favourite local spots to check out during the weekend: Magi Coffee Bar – Amazing coffee and one of the best brunch menus around. Palma Bread – Famous for its croissants (and for good reason). Primo Taqueria – Delicious tacos and a fun, casual vibe. Senso Palma – Elegant wine tasting menu and a great spot for something special. El Perrito – A go-to for relaxed brunch with great food and atmosphere.

Getting to Mallorca

The closest airport is Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) — just a 15–20 minute drive from central Palma. There are plenty of direct flights from the UK, especially from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, and other major airports. We recommend booking flights early, especially for a weekend in September, as it can be a popular time to travel. Important: Make sure your passport is valid and not more than 10 years old (even if it hasn't technically expired). Some airlines and border controls may refuse boarding or entry based on the issue date, so it’s worth double-checking. For those who are looking to rent a car in Mallorca, DO NOT USE GOLDCAR. Trust us. There are plenty of rental car company options, but some of them have hidden extras at the reception desk. We recommend checking the reviews for car rental companies on Google Maps over TrustPilot.
