Best Man
Andrew and Evan met in the sixth grade where they played middle school football for Providence. They’ve been like family ever since. Whether it was football games, offshore fishing, hunting trips, mud fights in the creek, crazy lunchroom conversations, senior lunch trips to Ohana, senior trip to New York City, being stranded on the boat miles offshore, or fantasy football/baseball, they did everything together. Evan was always known as the 5th Godwin brother. They left for college in 2015, Evan to Florida State and Andrew to Furman. Regardless, they always kept in touch. You are likely to see them together no matter what they’re doing. They’ve been best friends from the start.

Evan, Isaac, and Andrew did everything together as high school classmates. Some of the best memories were late night shark fishing on the beach, taking Richard’s boat offshore in less than ideal weather, and fishing/camping in Isaac‘s backyard. In 2015, Isaac and Evan decided to become roommates and attend Florida State. They’re somehow always on the same wave length and seem to know what the other is thinking!
Maid of Honor
Emma and Meghan also met in their freshman year of college while at Mercer University. Of their four years there, they spent three of them as roommates and were consequently “attached at the hip”. If you find Jaya on the dance floor, you’ll probably find Meghan there too.

Evan and AJ met during their freshman year of high school as mutual friends of Andrew and Isaac. They had classes together, sat at the same lunch table, and played in the same fantasy football league. Even though Evan went to FSU and AJ to UF, they visited each other all the time. The rivalry was intense, and they loved talking “smack”. Evan worked for the FSU football team at the time and would stay with AJ when the Noles went to the swamp and vice-versa. They attended each other’s fraternity parties and tailgates and always had a great time.

Another Mercer Bear! Shayla and Emma met while playing softball at Mercer University. They were known as the blonde twins and often got confused for each other. They both enjoyed their time off the field and away from the books. They shared a mutual love for healthcare, and Shayla went on to study and become a PA! Even though Shayla now lives in Texas, she and Emma are the type of friends who can immediately pick up right where they left off.

Evan and DJ met during their freshman year of high school as mutual friends of Andrew and Isaac. They shared the same love of their fantasy football league, even though DJ has never won at all...maybe one day! In 2015, Evan left for FSU and DJ for UF. Much like his brother, this friendship was built on the greatest football rivalry between the Noles and the Gators. They took road trips to games, concerts, and spring fraternity parties during their college days. DJ loved the Noles so much that he decided to attend law school in Tallahassee and they roomed together for three years. (R.I.P Lipona)
