When should I arrive?

Are you in the Wedding Party? No - Please arrive after Dec. 27, 2018 Yes - Please arrive after Dec. 26, 2018

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! So please leave the kiddos behind with a babysitter and come enjoy our special day!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest or +1,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

This is going to be a glam night, so get excited to look fabulous! Short answer: Black Tie Long Answer: Women: A chic, fancy and black-tie appropriate (glitzy, formal, embellished, etc.) floor-length dress are requested. Men: This does mean a tuxedo. However, a nice (black or navy blue) constructed suit with the obvious black tie can work too. If you need any further advice or guidelines, please don't hesitate to reach out to our wedding planner Nicola Wilson or the Bride and Groom.

Do I need to attend the Cocktail Hour?

Answer

In between the Ceremony and the Reception, we have arranged an hour of passed hors d'oeuvre and signature Bride and Groom cocktails. Please join us for live music, mingling and getting to know the other guests at our wedding. If you'd like to pass on this event, please do so, however, the reception will begin promptly at 6:00 pm.

Question

Will there be transportation to the Cocktail Hour and Reception?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged a shuttle bus from the Westin Book Cadillac to the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club for the cocktail hour and reception only. If you'd like to arrange your own means of transportation, you are welcome to Uber/Lyft/etc. to the evening's events.
