FAQs

Some fairly important details that you may be wondering about regarding our big day!
Question

How do we get to the reception venue from the Church?

Answer

The reception venue is a short walk from St. Patrick's Catholic Church. From the Church, walk North on 19th to Upshur Street. Then, turn right and walk along Upshur Street for one block, and you're there!

Question

What about parking?

Answer

St. Patrick's is happy to host guests cars during the wedding mass, but they will need the parking lot to be vacated before their nightly evening mass. For the entirety of the reception, the lot located on 1801 NW 18th Ave. will be available for guest's use at a first come, first served basis. There is abundant street parking in the area, as well as paid lots close by if the parking lot happens to fill up. If you or a family member has ADA needs please reach out to us individually so that we can offer you accommodations.

Question

Does Portland have Uber/ Lyft?

Answer

Yes, we do! Uber and Lyft both operate in Portland.

Question

What are the guidelines required due to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

We ask that all eligible guests in attendance be vaccinated fully against COVID-19. As of August 13, 2021, masks & face coverings are required in all indoor settings in Oregon. We ask guests respect this guideline and will happily provide access to masks should you not have one of your own. If this changes, we will update these guidelines accordingly.

Question

What if my child is too young to be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine?

Answer

If your child is not old enough to receive a COVID-19 vaccine they are welcome to attend at your discretion, and are asked to wear a mask to the best of their ability if they fall within the recommended CDC- guidelines for mask use.
