Yes! St. Francis has many parking spots, but keep in mind that St. Francis of Assisi Church is also an Elementary School, and due to Emma and Bryce's wedding being on a Friday, there may be a bit of a car line, if you arrive early.
Yes! After the ceremony ends, and the entire wedding party has exited the church; please remain seated as Emma and Bryce will be back in to usher everyone out, row-by-row. They would love the opportunity to thank all of their guests, and get their fill of hugs and kisses.
Absolutely! However, please refrain from flash photography, during the ceremony.

Right after the wedding! Once the wedding completes, and the bride and groom make their exit, you can head on down to the Scottish Rite to enjoy some appetizers, drinks and music. The wedding party will be there a little later.

Yes! At the reception there will be place cards with your name and table number.
Great question! Emma and Bryce have gotten a DJ, and it comes with a photo booth, so be sure to have fun with that too!
It is not. There will not be communion. However, there will be two Bible readings, a Responsorial Psalm and a Gospel reading, but it shouldn't be more than 45 minutes!
Yes, Emma and Bryce have blocked off rooms at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Des Moines. If you have additional questions; please refer back to the "Hotel Reservation" tab for more information.
There is limited on-street parking downtown at the Scottish Rite, and parking downtown is no longer free on Friday's and Saturday's until after 5pm, but the Hilton Hotel is right next door, and they do have some parking available. Or there is the Principal parking garage across the street at Center Street and 7th Street that has free parking starting at 5 on Friday’s.
