Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us! We wanted a way for those who do not know everyone in our wedding party to get to know them from our perspectives. Bridesmaid introductions are written by Emma, and groomsmen by Andrew.

Windsor Walton

Maid of Honor

Windsor, (better known as pookie) is my cousin, basically sister, and built in best friend. She is only a few months younger than me and we have grown up together side by side. Windsor is someone that I can always count on to make me laugh until I pee my pants and we have shared so many milestones together. From going to the same high school, working at a coffee shop, and going on my first missions trip, Windsor has been there for it all. We have talked about her being my Maid of Honor since we were little, and she is truly one of my favorite people in the whole world.

Gillian Howard

Maid of Honor

Gilly is also my Maid of Honor! Gillian is my wonderful sister whom has made my life wildly but amazingly extraordinary. Not many people get asked to do their 23-year-old sister's makeup on the daily, or have dance parties to Michael Jackson or anything from Mama Mia with her. Being a sister to Gilly has taught me how to have patience even when it's hard, and that there can be moments of laughter within the chaos of this life. I am so excited for my Oregon family to finally meet her!

Maggie Dye

Bridesmaid

Maggie Dye was an answer to prayer my Junior year of High School. We have known each other since our freshmen year, but we became best friends our junior year. Maggie is the best friend that everyone wants, but few are lucky enough to find. She is insanely hilarious, but also the best listener there is. Maggie has been with me throughout my journey with YWAM. We started as Mission Adventure high school students going to YWAM Ensenada, Mexico where we got baptized in the ocean together. And we just did our Discipleship Training School together at YWAM, Salem. We have grown, cried, and have gotten to become closer to Jesus together.

Jazy Uribe

Bridesmaid

Jazy and I have served in youth ministry together for awhile! She also came with me to YWAM Salem for the first time and we served as volunteer staff for one of the ministries on base together! Jazy is always up for any of my crazy and wild ideas and loves people so fiercely. We have gone on many late ight escapades to get tacos or go to WinCo to get ice cream. Jazy loves the Lord and listens to His voice in a way that I will forever admire and value having in my life.

Beth Wood

Bridesmaid

Beth has walked by me for these past few years coming out of high school. She and her husband (David Wood) have been such an answer to pray in my life. They and their kiddos have become my second family and my home away from home. Beth is one of the strongest and most fiercest woman of the Lord that I have ever known. She is also hilarious, humble, authentic, and makes the best cold brew ;) To known Beth is to love her, and I am constantly in awe that she is someone that I have in my corner as God talks me from one place to the next.

Alexis Fendell

Bridesmaid

From sharing a closet of a room in the same house, to now moving out of that house together and into our married lives, Alexis has been an incredible testimony of the Lord's goodness. Alexis is a staff member at YWAM Salem and was best friends with Andrew before I stepped into the picture, and we instantly become close within the first week of knowing each other. Never did I know how much the Lord would grow our beautiful paths together, until Alexis then started dating and got engaged to Andrew's best man (Christian Fendell). Alexis is a pure joy to have in my life and I am forever grateful of our unexpected bond.

Hannah Railey

Bridesmaid

Hannah is another staff member at YWAM Salem. I have gotten to work closely with her in our on base Café, and her and her husband have been such a blessing to Andrew and I's relationship. Hannah cares deeply for those around her and it is apparent in everything she does. She cares for our YWAM Salem campus with such detail and love, and she pours that same energy into the people she loves. I have gotten the privilege of being one of the people that she loves and care for so well.

Christian Fendell

Best Man

One of my oldest comrades at YWAM Salem, God paired him with me as the only two guys on our outreach team of 14 and I couldn't have been more thankful as he brought life to our days then, and everyday since, as we both were the only guys who stuck around on staff. Years later we would become each others best men. We've been great friends, pillars and I couldn't imagine the last 4 years without him as he was an integral part of my recent life's journey. Love you buddy O.o

Matthew Pierce

Groomsman

By divine call Matt ended up in Salem from Colorado and he's been a big part of my life in Salem. From boy scout adventures, to witty (or witless) pirate shenanigans, and deep spiritual discussions and growth, he has been one of the most enjoyable people to be around and have in my life. I hope you all have a Matthew Pierce in your life.

Jordan Chaffin

Groomsman

He's the reason I stand before you today about 30 pounds lighter than I would otherwise. I am forever grateful to God for calling Jordan to Salem when he did as he's been a great role model of a father and spiritual leader, and even greater partner to stay ahead of me and give me me bigger goals to strive for, in all matters of life. In prayer, meditation, fitness, and whole chicken eating contests.

Jacob Bryan

Groomsman

A most polite, humble, authentic and enjoyable gentleman. He is Canadian after all, what else would you expect? Jacob is a close second to King David as a man after God's own heart and a shepherd who disciples and leads others on right paths, including me. I could never get enough time with this guy, to wrestle through theological conundrums, to partake in good mischief, or to be jealous of his angelic vocal cords.

Josh Parker

Groomsman

Josh is one of those life sized teddy bears everyone wishes they got for valentines day. Josh is a friend who is a listening ear whenever you need, creating a safe space and community wherever he is, and generous with his time and unconditional love however you need. Like that plush bear he's got good comfy hugs and like a real bear he will annihilate threats to his loved ones...so don't object during my wedding.

Nolan Howard

Groomsman

Emma’s little bro. He still owes me a McChicken from beating him in mini golf. NO CAP AIR FORCE 1 GRITTY CHAIN GANG

For all the days along the way
