How We Met

Falling in love, surrounded by sewage water...

So it's a pretty crappy story... pun intended.. but Andrew and Emma met on Emma's first day of volunteering at YWAM Salem. She was sitting in her dorm room decorating her space, when she saw sewage water coming into the room from the bathroom. Many people came in, including Andrew (head of facilities at the time)… and he knew exactly what to do because of his manly man bro guy giga brain and cleaned it up like a rockstar super heroman and made Emma fall head over heels for him instantly and she was all like "I'm gonna marry this frikcen man whatever it takes so help me God." The rest is history. (Andrew) Edit* I (Emma) thought for the first week that Andrew was some macho man who was a little too bold for me. I quickly realized though the huge heart he has.. and after some time... THEN the rest was history.

Us & The Lord

How our relationship is just an echo of His love...

It was a long journey for us to get where we are now. So much time and prayer was put into whether or not we would even start dating in the first place. God really made a way for the two of us to start pursuing each other, and we both feel deeply that our whole relationship is a testimony of the Lord's goodness upon us. It’s in the little and big things. God’s faithfulness is a constant. That’s what our relationship has taught us. He is good, and He loves His kids so much. We are beyond grateful to get to soon live out of that goodness and faithfulness together in marriage.
