There is a local airport in Traverse City (30 min from Leland) for those who wish to fly in close to the wedding. For those that want to go into a bigger airport the Chicago airport or the Detroit airport will be similar distances from Leland. Detroit is about a 4.5 hours drive and Chicago a 5.5 hour drive. Chicago will be a better option for those that want to explore a big city in the states before or after the wedding.

Ferry across Lake Michigan

For those flying into Chicago or just traveling from the other side of Lake Michigan there is a Ferry across to avoid having to drive through downtown Chicago. It travels between Milwaukee, WI and Muskegon, MI.

Hotels within Leland are limited but there are plenty of Airbnb and VRBO properties to rent. If anyone would like help finding a rental you can message us. We have saved a list of properties that may be available and appropriate for the weekend of the wedding. The hope is that as many people as possible can be within Leland and able to walk to the wedding.
