FAQs

The Wedding Website of Emma Anson and Caleb Raible-Clark
Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We've coined the dress code as *Island Garden Formal*! Inspo in the visual above Color: We tried to give a lot of options for color that'll fit with people's wardrobes. We're going for medium to pastel tones. Bonus points for subtle floral patterns! Semi-Formal Attire: - Long or midi dresses, or dress pants - Suit, or slacks with a sport coat (black and navy suits are a-ok) Our "Vibe" page has more images (including examples for the gents), and please to reach out if you aren't sure and would like some guidance!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We plan to get RSVPs out by February at the latest, with a May 1 deadline for RSVP. We may ask some chosen guests to reserve sooner in order to firm up onsite housing plans.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our space is highly limited and we (especially Caleb) had to make some *very* tough choices on who we could invite to celebrate with us. As a result, we don't have room for extra guests beyond those indicated on the invitation.

Question

What weather should I be prepared for?

Answer

We have tried to shoot for the highest-likelihood excellent weather window of the year, but we will nonetheless be on an island in the Pacific North West. As a result, weather may be unpredictable. The ceremony will be uncovered, though (weather dependent) we'll have some sun parasols or umbrellas. We would recommend that you have sunscreen, sun glasses, and a suitable rain jacket on your packing list.

Question

Are kids and dogs invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adult-only, human-only affair (except for the goats who live on property).

Question

What support can you offer for mobility issues?

Answer

The venue does involve some walking, particularly a 10 minute walk on a well-graded gravel path from the ceremony location to the reception location. We will have staff on hand with golf carts for those who need assistance moving between the locations.
