Cute seaside town with fun shops and restaurants. Harbor Fish Cafe is great for fish and chips with a sea view. Stop at Witch Creek Winery for coffee or a glass of wine. Afterwards stroll down to Carlsbad State Beach for miles of great beach access.

One of Emma's favorite places! The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park are one of the best in the country and do a lot of amazing conservation work. The Safari Park in particular is amazing as it has wide open enclosures to see free range safari animals.
