What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the ceremony at 3:30PM, as it will begin promptly at 4:00PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating under the sun and stars outdoors at a Hollywood replica Spanish-style ranch. Dress code is semi-formal with summery vibes. Think light suits or dressy separates, and flowy dresses perfect for dancing. Coat and tie are welcome but not required. The ranch has some packed dirt paths, so bring shoes you can comfortably walk and dance in. And consider a sweater for the evening, it can be chillier than expected at night by the coast!

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

Lyft/Uber are plentiful in the area and recommended so you can safely enjoy the evening! You are also welcome to leave your car overnight if you drive to the venue, but it must be picked up by 9am the following morning.

Is there a wedding hotel block?

Answer

No – there are so many hotels and Airbnbs in the Carlsbad area that we decided to leave it up to you! Some recommendations are given under the Travel page, but feel free to stay where you like, whether it be closer to the beach or the venue.

What is the celebration in Spain?

Answer

Alejandro has many family and friends who live in Spain. To keep them included in the festivities, we have decided to have a second reception in Alicante, Spain after the wedding. We would love to also open this to any other family or friends who would like to continue celebrating (or those who can't make the wedding). Please let either of us know if you are interested and we will happily send some details!
